Your credit balance is with Shopee pay (Airpay Malaysia Sdn Bhd) not Shopee.
Shopee is not allowed to use your fund in ShopeePay, it is regulated by Bank Negara.
You can use ShopeePay money at DuitNow QR merchants (almost everywhere in Malaysia) since 30/11/20, not only at Shopee.

DuitNow QR code is in pink colour.
Can easily spot them if the particular merchant supports it.

But... but... you could have just topped-up the amount you need - in this case RM54.33.

I don't have such urge.
I only top up for the amount that I needed to use since it doesn't allow withdrawal.

Tried on the hawker stall which showing the pink QR code.

Just now I scanned on Maybank QRPay code and ShopeePay said invalid QR code.

It's DuitNow QR code or Maybank QR Pay code?

Tried to use ShopeePay for payment at online merchant via ipay88 but keeps failing.

Merchant portal: QR code cannot be scanned no matter how hard you tried to scan (zoom in/out, turn on flash, etc)
Merchant app: Broken link when reaches to page upon selection of Ewallet>ShopeePay.

But they're heavily promoting it under RM 3 daily cash back with min spending of RM 15. It's for online & offline participating merchants.

I means merchant create a QR Code for customer to scan, like boost (the one put at table for ppl scan)

Yes. Mostly the remaining balance after those big sale. Most of the time less than rm10. Only get banned once (withdraw 1.5k). After that no more.

But again i think this is only applicable if ur amount is small. If big then kena banned dont blame me
