I have been making SPL instore payment but only got 2x cb 20sen n 50sen. I noticed no cb if bought with discount 1sen vouchers.

Previous visit was when? Recently or some time ago?

Cause i noticed only recently that they expanded to small merchants also able to pay using SPL.. Now the condition seems to be as long as its paid to a business duitnow qr can use SPL already..

Previously SPL only available as an option to those "official" merchants like established brands..

Recently only. Last visit was 9th Aug and still no SPL but I went yesterday it showed SPL when I scanned. It is a Chinese medicine shop.

probably newly onboarded merchant under ShopeePay ..... SPL need separate approval (usually 2-3 weeks) to enable SPL.

the requirements as SPL merchant is stricter. not all merchants under ShopeePay are eligible for SPL though.

As it was only my third visit to this local Chinese medicine shop, I'm not sure how it was previously. My first visit was 2nd August, second visit was 9th August both paid with SPay by scanning its DN QR and yesterday was my third visit, so I reloaded in advance but I used SPL since this time it prompted SPL.

So SPL can only be used with business DuitNow QR not personal DuitNow QR right? No wonder it doesn't work when scanning some of the QR while buying at the side road store

spl = bnpl, it's for merchant use ... definitely not for individual

road side sellers are mostly P2P/individual DNQR ... they juse use their own bank's DNQR to receive $$ from buyer.

Just realised that one of my SPL is 12m installment, is there anyway to reverse it to 1m 0%? My 1st SPL mistake.

haha, i kena twice...........it pain, you need to pay it though.......and it is 18%. out of few payment it will direct recomended to us 12 months, you need to check everytime you use Spaylater before confirm the payment.

credit card 18% is reducing basis, but shopee is rm100x18%/12 months = RM9.83/month.

Oh really, it sucks then, need to be carefully next time.
Luckily small amount have to pay xtra rm4, but i used a rm8 discount voucher.

I have seen before that it doesn't allow SPayLater even on a merchant which I have use SPayLater before. Don't know why....

Right. Seems like probably SPay issue.

Spaylater not always working, just like card payment and other ewallet.
Restart the ShopeePay App may help.
Quit then re-scan Duitnow QR may work.

Seems like they extend till 30 Sep. Only gotten RM20 once.

Hmm. If once maybe it’s the app the issue, twice on different days is also the same. Only the third visit, it has SPL. I will go again in two weeks, let’s see if SPL will still be available for the shop.

i experience the same before on the same day..

Scan QR > ask me top up my shopeepay as SPL not an option, then, i proceed to top up, SPL option is available.

For those allow SPL b4 n suddenly not allow, maybe is the amount u trying to pay.. i notice daily limit for each merchant using SPL is only RM1k (not sure is it specific to certain SME merchant as i see some comment here can scan 3k)

also, i've experience that KK mart when i try to use SPL, it shown my credit limit over despite i've plenty of limit there.. i.e. the payment is less than RM10, my available limit is RM5k, dunno why it shown credit limit over, wonder is it KK mart set some limit that can accept during the day... n the KK mart is consider newly open for 1-2 week.

For my case, it was just RM 130 and I haven't spent the daily limit.

anyone knows what is the MCC code for Spaylater?
