Just pulled trigger to pre-order Legion 5 Pro (82JQ0041MJ). Hopefully it doesn't disappoint.

RTX 3060 or RTX 3070 version are more worth? Please advise, is it worth buying the RTX 3070 as the price different is not much. Also is the price good for the laptop?

L5P more worth.

Would RTX 3070 not be able to support 1600p gaming and I will need to change 1200p gaming in the long run? And would it be not nice compare gaming 1200p in legion 5 pro with other gaming at native 1080p?

depends on games, 3070 125w should be able to last quite a long time

would suggest playing at native resolution (QHD) and not using lower reso

Noted with thanks, just let say in the future, my fps starting to drop, can I get a full HD monitor to use? It is same with as native 1080p? Sorry not so sure about resolution thingy.

Hows the cooling on the L5P compared to asus strix 17? Build quality?

15 vs 17 inch, not comparable - if compare to G513 (2021), L5P has slight advantage: slightly lower temps and higher TGP 3070. G513 by no means bad though, just that at same fan noise it runs slightly hotter and the max fan noise is higher. But G513 can adjust fan speed manually

note that G513 doesn't have MUX, the panel doesn't haven't GSYNC and not QHD

build quality both have their own pros and cons - L5P has metal A and D cover, but C cover has slightly more flex compared to G513

need to look at non gaming then, something like Ideapad Slim 5i 14 with MX450

What do you think of AMD graphic cards like 5600M vs NVIDIA ones

performance is decent but let down by mediocre models
