How much did you buy for the spec that you mentioned earlier? Is it cheaper than buying from their own website?

About 6k with 5XX+ installment for 12 months. The store charge around 4% of RRP as well sigh.

Cheaper by website but no installment and I want my laptop on same day instead of waiting and receiving lemon

If you can wait, go for website, better pricing and gifts

Hi Guys, can i get your opinion on Legion Y540 and Illegear SE? Specs would be i5 + 1650.

Dilemma on which to get.

Budget is about 3k.

Read review so far, left with raven se and legion y540 in mind.

Read alot of your review as well but not sure how’s the comparison between these two

I see, yeah at least you got it straightaway. Btw do you know if the screen is g-sync enabled? I was browsing through their website, they mentioned it in the general tech specs but not mentioned at the configuration page.

Y540 doesn't have GSYNC but has MUX switch. If you want GSYNC need to get Y740

Oh sorry I thought he bought the y740. My question earlier was on the Y740, no mention of G-Sync on the configuration page (customization page). Then the live chat pop up, so i asked them, the rep said the y740 here does not come with g-sync, even for the rtx 2060 model.

Wht can i get with a budget of RM3k, maybe something tht handle new games at medium setting.

Thoughts on current Lenovo Merdeka Sale? Anything worth there?

Currently checking on Lenovo IdeaPad L340-15API (with AMD Ryzen R7 3700)

thanks!

can you recommend me a high sRGB display gaming laptop ranging 4000 to 4500? i need a good display for dicom interpretation, thus good colour accuracy is important but i wish to play some games too. The standard acceptable display would be macbook retina display grade but i don't like mac os. Is there any gaming laptop in that range that has display as good as macbook? or almost as good as.

nope.. i m working in radiology who reports CT scan xrays.. So i need good display with good gaming performance, no need for too high end 4k display, full hd IPS sRGB 100% will do.

Actually you can get 1660Ti models for this budget but no high sRGB, I guess you have to stick with 1650

Illegear Raven / Raven SE with display upgrade
Lenovo Legion Y7000 SE customize / Y540 15 customize: with 300 nits 60/144Hz

Hi there I have a budget ranging from 3k - 4k.
Games played: Dota only
Programs: light auto cad, python and other programming,

I'm seeing illeager setup i5 with 1650, and level 51 setup i7 with 1650. I reckon my usage with i5 is more than sufficient.

Appreciate any comment or feedback or new recommendations.
