Hi, I'm looking for a ultrabook/2 in 1 notebook with the following requirements:

Usage: Web surfing, Microsoft Office, bloomberg application, occasional movies, YouTube, etc. No gaming
Requirements: No lagging, quick startup, smooth, not too heavy, preferably a 2 in 1 because I don't have a ipad/tablet. High storage capacity to store pictures, videos. Reliable device with long warranty cover Preferred.
Budget: Between rm4-5k

Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Sifus,

Also looking for a business laptop 14' around 3.5k budget.

I notice a lot of recommendation is L14 but in AMD instead of Intel, any Sifus mind to explain? Because my company gives me 3 specs and ask me to find a laptop.

Intel i5 10210u
8gb ram
256gb SSD

Thanks.

Ryzen 4000 provides far more performance compared to Intel 10th gen U, also slightly more efficient means slightly better battery life

Hi pros,

I am looking for a slim laptop with 15'' display, mainly used for work purposes, occasional movie. Always open many tabs on internet browser for work while working on excel, word, PDF files. Not so particular about weight as many seem to be standard below 2kg.

My budget is around 3.5k-5k. I shortlist Yoga Slim 7 (15"), Thinkpad T15, Asus Vivobook S15 but not sure if which one is the best. Can i get some expert views on that?

Any other recommended models also can, thanks alot in advance!

Thanks for the advice!

I look at Lenovo website. Comparing ThinkPad T15 Gen 1- Build Your Own (RM3534.38) and ThinkPad T15 Gen 1 (RM3959.28) vs
ThinkPad L15 (RM3764.45), it seem that that L15 has more value for money given the 16GB memory and also the powerful AMD processor?

Sorry, i am quite an amateur on all these. just wondering why T15 seems to be more expensive than L15 when the look and design are the same? thanks once again!

Btw, all of them need more than 8 weeks of shipping except for ThinkPad T15 Gen 1 (RM3959.28), u think this is good?

You can apply coupons for more discount. T15 can upgrade RAM also. Personally would pick Ryzen 4000

T series is 1 class higher than L series

more than 8 weeks means long wait time, probably will not be 8 weeks but more like 4-8 weeks

You can get the T14 at RM 4k, with the following spec, which is a great bargain.

Or this one, at RM 3.3k.

for T14, either BIGTREAT or IPRICE code might give more discount...
