Cheapest yet well-built+good battery life so far would be Acer Swift 3 SF314-54. However I strongly suggest anyone to try out the laptop yourself if you want to grab one to get a feeling

There isn't any good 15 inch regular laptop with good sRGB display in this budget

Good question actually, I wonder why nobody asked me about this before. Yes, Dell has the best after sales service in Malaysia imo; however, most Inspiron models don't have big battery. It shouldn't be an issue at first since new Intel CPUs nowadays are very power efficient in idle/light loads; however, reviews had shown that the battery life sucks. There is a section in the list for those models with not so great battery life; however, Dell models are usually priced high. Inspiron 3000 series have mediocre build quality (best would be sturdy but feels cheap) while Inspiron 5000 series have OKish build quality (in terms of rigidity). Left Inspiron 7000 series, however they are usually expensive. Since many Inspiron 7000 series models aren't worth it imo, therefore they are not included in the list. For Vostros, I don't have enough info on other models besides 5471/5481, therefore I will not include the others for now. As I said before, different ppl will have different perspective/opinion when buying laptop, this is how I judge, yours might vary and you can ignore this list

(btw, there are still a few Dell models in the list)

Dell Vostro's and Dell Inspiron 5000 aren't that differnt. Last time I checked Inspiron only have 10/100 ethernet while Vostro has 10/100/1000 ethernet.
