Great list and effort there! I actually searching similar needs for my brother going for university, asking for a lightweight laptop with RM2k-2.5k range, with good battery life (~4 hours) and decent GPU for casual gaming. Also, he's not really fond with 15.6", saying its kinda large.

From my research, I found few as below that somehow not in your list:
- HP 14-cm0108AU (Ryzen 5 2500U, 1.55kg, 14" FHD IPS, 4GB / 1TB, RM 1939)
This is quite a good one, since with sub-2k, this machine having FHD IPS and its Ryzen 5-2500u is on par with i5-8250U based on NotebookCheck benchmark list.

- Asus Vivobook A411U-FEB143T (i5-8250U, MX130, 1.35kg, 14" FHD, 4GB / 1TB, RM 2159)
- Asus Vivobook A411U-NEB345T (i5-8250U, MX150, 1.35kg, 14" FHD, 4GB / 1TB, RM 2409)
Both Vivobook A411U are quite nice, since with just 1.35kg and below RM2.5k, I can get i5-8250 and MX130 / 150. Also comes with 14" FHD, fingerprint, and 4 USBs (1 type-C, 1x 3.0, 2x 2.0).

Of course, I will upgrade the laptop with additional RAM and SSD as main partition.

What do you think? Any other recommendation e.g. Acer Swift 3 maybe?

I see. Yup, fair enough. So, Acer Swift 3 then? Or any other suggestion?
