QUOTE(rockmaniac85 @ Jul 19 2007, 02:00 PM) not so sure yet but it seems like most probably that's the route to go, it'll be either by the end of the year or early next year... some pc8500 ddr2 1066MHz rams cost around rm800 now, so if the price of high performance ddr3 rams drop to dat price zone, ok mar... |

i'll get myself DDR3 very soon, but i still fall in love to DDR2 now....
it's too expensive,2GB cost more than rm1k.... |

I think it will not gonna be cheap until AMD will adopt DDR3 for its platform.

well, with the implementation of ddr3, i think i wouldn't be surprised to see fsb:dram 1:10 lol..
but the timing is keep on loosening.. ddr1 had the best timing if i can remember correctly... Hope they can make something that have high freq, high mem, and lose timing.. will that ever be possible? |

yes,DDR has tightest timing since their speed is not very high, but ddr3 now with high speed DDR1600MHZ with CL6 if not mistaken.
looks like they going to mature liao. |

Quite fast mature than DDR2. Maybe that time it becoz of Netburst architecture which is not promising at all.

CL5...1200.....u mean DDR3 or DDR2?
If DDR2 around 2.35 to get stable and i think DDR3 with 1.65 to 1.75 like that. |

DDR1600 CL6.??? wah, so fast oredi 1600 CL6 meh??? for current c2d users, i dun think they'll be much advantage for changing to 1333fsb n ddr3 but a few more months (6 to 9 months), the trend will go toward ddr3 i guess as if the latency is tighter, with ddr1600 or highr specs then we'll difinitely see big advantage gap compare to current ddr2...

For HyperX PC9600 need how much volt? I think only 2.2V bcos if more than Kingston will use more exotic heatspreader.

Aiya, for me,heat sdpreader in ram is useless one,if u run the ram with heat spreader and without a fan to cool it,the heat will be there and will not disspate, make worse to the ram.

Yeah, i am notice bout that. Nothing much different if no air blowing on them. I want to buy ram cooler but the thermaltake and evercool both only hav two tiny 2cm fan. I want single 6cm fan so it can blow up to nb and cpu.
