kingston is having the fastest ddr3 ram now, if i'm not wrong... ddr1333 with 7-7-7 timing (http://www.anandtech.com/memory/showdoc.aspx?i=2996)... i guess we'll pretty soon see ddr1333 with cl6 or even 5 by the end of the year or early next year... the phase of change is faster then wat we expected, the price is droping for ddr3 rams... btw, wat is BGA ram???

uuuhhh... ddr1700 cl5??? dammit, that's very very fast considering most ddr2 rams can only do 1000mhz+ with cl5...

rm1.3k does sound like a good price at least better than when it sounds rm1.8k... ddr3 is really taking really really fast pace comparing to ddr1 n ddr2... hopefully the price will become more affordable by the end of the year, like somewher around rm900 to rm1k... hehehe... sweat.gif

you're thinking of getting ddr3 rig by end of this year? i think i'll wait for more time..

not so sure yet but it seems like most probably that's the route to go, it'll be either by the end of the year or early next year... some pc8500 ddr2 1066MHz rams cost around rm800 now, so if the price of high performance ddr3 rams drop to dat price zone, ok mar...

DDR1600 CL6.??? wah, so fast oredi 1600 CL6 meh??? for current c2d users, i dun think they'll be much advantage for changing to 1333fsb n ddr3 but a few more months (6 to 9 months), the trend will go toward ddr3 i guess as if the latency is tighter, with ddr1600 or highr specs then we'll difinitely see big advantage gap compare to current ddr2...
