the best camera is the camera which you have now.
start with your phone. read or watch youtube and learn about composition, lighting then try taking photos of everyday things. the more you shoot, the more you learn.
then look for maybe a second hand sony rx 100 or fujifilm x series. the former comes with a zoom lens and the latter is fix lens...which is also good as it makes you move around to compose your shot.
then slowly progress to a mirrorless camera and different lenses.
dslr is dying already, so no point.
