1. TS paid 500 booking.
2. Scammer called and said owner wants another 2k and will transfer immediately.
3. TS paid another 2k.
4. TS opened thread saying it is 500, when it was 2.5k? TS really wants another 500 because he actually paid 2.5k and not 500?

Not sure if I can understand you correctly.

You buy a car with Dealer A for rm2.5k

You paid rm500 as deposit to Dealer A, and you have the invoice.

After that someone pretend to be Dealer A call you and said you need to pay rm2k.

So you pay rm2k as instructed.

Then you call Dealer A, Dealer said he never contact you for rm2k.

So you ask Dealer A to bear full responsible, but Dealer A said he can only refund rm500 because that's what he receive from you.

Eh.... I worked in used car industry before.. besides, now and then also sell my old car when change to new one

I pity u TS.. really, u looks like first time buy car.

when dealer agree to refund u.. just accept it, why u want to be so demanding asking for compensation.. it is the same, when customer decide to cancel I used to return it.. no point fighting over small money ( I dunno about other dealer la ). It's not like u lose anything, probably just wasted ur time..

I know a lot of "shark dealer" out there, like to manipulate the car mileage, adding exorbitant service charges (kena before car price state + 3K-5K for processing fee WTF    )

TS fault:
1. Too demanding (i guess u must had scolding that sales guy 99 when he said wanna refund u 500)
2. Too emotional

We are the ones who tried to warn you to take the RM500 and run. but u sendiri act smart go and bank in more money.

Okay. TLDR. Let me make this short.

-TS banked in Rm500 as booking fee for a car he has not inspected to an unknown seller masquerading as a used car dealer. 

-The usual scam tactics - A deal to good to be true.

-The seller @ conman then upped his game by asking TS to bank in more deposit (Rm2000) to seal the deal as the original owner of the car have to pay back Ah Long.

-So TS ended up Rm500+Rm2000 = Rm2500 poorer.

scammer: u want d car, rm500 booking fee.

Ts: ok. Paid already.

later that day

scammer: i cant give u that car la now..i will refund u back the rm500 yea..

Ts: no way! I dont want refund! I want my car coz price n specs kenot can anywhere! I no want refund..i want my car..!!!! I will sue you to hell!

Ts then goes n post story in /k ask for opinion but goes against most /k advice who told him to juz take the refund. Instead want to go tribunal for fucking ethics problem by seller

Later same night

Scammer 'boss': you want the car? Pay rm2000 coz previous owner got issues with ah long

Ta: ok done!

Next morning, Ts kena block and realise he is stupid.
