Mohon share your experiences and opinions about Bezza vs Myvi vs Saga. Auto and 1.3 at least.

My budget is around 500 per month best can go. What should I get?

In all honesty. Imma vote for Myvi. A little bit expensive than the other 2 but hey the build is great, power ok, kinda last. At least for the slightly older model that is.

Edit: Idk how well the newer Myvi generation perform.

The other 2 excels in space though. Can put more stuffs.

I have used Saga VVT 2017 for 2 years, previously used previous version of Myvi.

Personally both petrol consumption is almost the same. However I choose Saga because it is a sedan car with big boot space and mostly I travel long distance, which driving experience for me is different when I drove myvi before.

I like the sound proof in Saga, and the audio system in Saga.


To sum up:

Pros:
1. I feel so stable when driving in highway (good handling).
2. A good car to start a family to balik kampung etc as it give a better boot space.
3. Stock audio system (bass and treble) is amazing.
4. Fuel consumption is good, not like people who used to say proton drink petrol (it has been improved)

Cons:
1. No pickup much.
2. Not that good interior design compared to latest myvi.
3. Only have basic feature unlike new myvi.
4. No resell value unlike myvi.


And oh yeah 1 more thing the reason i choose saga because during my time I got 5 years free maintenance including labour work and I'm enjoying it right now haha..

Tested all 3 before, my review as below.
Bezza, backseat almost 90° since boot is really big,
Saga, cheapest among these 3, but nay for the 1.3 vvt engine
Myvi, quite spacious interior space, 1.5H is the best option if you aiming for a value car

If you can afford myvi why not opt for persona too though just wondering?

myvi feels more expensive in and out (more proportionate and better looking design)

stable enough for usual highway cruising too (even though 4 speed but 110kmh is around 2k+ rpm only)

saga on the other hand, the design and build quality is really bad compared to myvi (especially obvious when you compare the door card/ dashboard/ meter)

however saga feels a little more stable and offers bigger space, while being cheaper also

if you decided to go for myvi, go for the 1.5H spec. offers the best value imo and i will take 1.5 over 1.3 anyday.

if you decided to go for saga, just avoid the base spec due to how little active safety features it offers.

no comments on bezza because i would pick myvi over it anyday (bezza super underpowered and looks awful).

btw, since you are considering myvi, why not consider latest Persona FL too? similar price point and quite a big step-up from saga.

Myvi is the only one with side airbags right?

bezza is ugly AF..go for myvi or saga..or got more budget get new persona FL..monthly around 500++..

go test drive all and see which one suits u best

for i would go for saga, FC bad but i need that high speed stability

if life is more important compared to face, get proton saga

bezza feels so light,,like not grip to the road at all during cruising/cornering..feel not safe at all driving one..

My 2 cent.

Myvi is the best bang for buck. A lot of modern features. And honestly looks the trendiest of the 3 choices you mentioned.

If you can topup i will say Myvi. Otherwise get the Saga. Bezza dont even look at it.

but if budget strictly 500, then myvi is out of the question.

Myvi 0-100k total maintenance cost you around 3.8k, same with bezza (1.3).

Saga 0-100k total cost around 3k only.

If you have the budget for Myvi, should go test drive the new upcoming FL persona too, bigger space with extra safety(HPF)

p2 is tin kosong, p1 fc higher a bit but still acceptable.

Currently, I would recommend the Myvi. The maintenance for Saga CVT transmission is atrocious. No one does it well and they will slaughter you every time it needs to be serviced.

then MyVi should be off the list. Dont forget to factor in maintenance cost .. (reserve AT LEAST rm100 per month)

Avoid SAGA and Bezza. Myvi is the best of all 3 cars. however, if you want a safer and more powerful car without regret, buy a used Japanese car la such as Vios, City or Altis. Japanese cars are way better than any Malaysian car.

If you enjoy driving, get the Saga
If you don't and just need to get around, get the Myvi.
These are from your suggestions only lah.

but I think for the amount of money i will also recommend the Picanto, or second hand C segments.

at malaysia, RV is everything, even it costs you life.

why no consider iriz? monthly less than 5++ if u buy 2nd or new w/ 9 yrs loan.

anyway for your 3 option, clear winner is myvi of course. i am talking bout the new gen myvi, not that sampan passo maibi. safety is good, large cabin space, and being a perodua, got better FC and RV.

however if u prefer to enjoy cornering here and there, iriz will serve you well. plus in terms of safety, it is better than passo maibi and a little bit better than new myvi because iriz got HPF steel. the downside are iriz quite heavy at 1.2 tons hence FC greater than myvi.

If u prefer sedan, my recomendation is persona FL.

iriz/persona very sempit behind. Design yg bodoh.

Bezza the best ... This i s based on my perception of the perodua brand. After owning multiple proton cars & 1 myvi. The myvi still standing.

Bezza - Got ass can put more stuffs, somewhat in the middle of its product life cycle & very fuel efficient
Myvi - Got all the latest tech and safety features, very fuel efficient and new model but limited boot space
Saga - obsolete car model but cheap to maintain and cheaper price, fuel efficiency not as good as the 2 above

Saga replacement is later in this year.....hold on till new SAGA come out

Myvi should not be in the conversation. Myvi > both. Wheelbase, weight also greater, more stability.

U should compares cars within their segments. aka Bezza vs Saga vs Axia. Myvi vs Iriz vs Persona.

if fc and maintenance is your main concern, bezza is the way to go..

if driving experiencce,handling and slightly better comfort than others, saga it is

Tried all 3. Saga VVT and new myvi have really bad built quality. Bezza is the way to go.

If I were given the 3 options, I'll go for the top spec Saga as overall refinement is better.
Unfortunately, it's always a gamble buying a Proton.
I rented the new Saga 2 times...first time was great, the second car comes with the famed Proton-tuned rattling...

But still better than the MyVi & Bezza in terms of comfort and NVH as a driver. Not to mention better sound system as well.

Rumoured to be just another facelift and the useless adapted voice control player 10% like the X70..

The refinement & parts "upgraded" part should be interesting since every praised the Iriz & Persona facelift...

Bezza and Axia are less comfortable than Saga.

Saga... But only the manual variant...

I m axia owner regret owning this car too many rattle noise car underpowered going genting if I have a chance to choose again I will choose persona at least better quality n stable +more powerful than saga bezza n myvi

Myvi 1.3L is good enough. Seriously it is decent for entry level.
