Planning to get a new dashcam for my car. My car will be put under the hot sun most of the time, read through the threads in the forum and found out that if buying dashcam like XiaoMi's one, it might not last long. What will you guys recommend for a car that parked under hot sun most of the time?
Saw the Thinkware F800 pro review by TS, it bugs me as it can't even capture the road plate number clearly during night time at such price (or I should rephrase it as I can't even read the road plate properly, even when the car is stopped.)

I got a dumb question to ask for Thinkpro F800 Pro.
Since the dashcam came equipped with technology like LDAS, does that means it will involve in modifying the car existing electrical wiring?
my car is still under warranty, so that is my concern

QUOTE(blurjoey @ Feb 4 2021, 11:55 AM) Thinkware F800 Pro. ADAS is a feature when you're driving which gives you warnings like a lane change, car in front too close, etc. Think you mean the parking mode. Yes, you need to use a hardwire kit but there's no need to modify anything in your car as the hardwire kit is plug-and-play as using fuse taps to piggyback. No wires cut. hi Joey, yes I am referring to ADAS, does those features require any modifications on the car electrical wiring? For example, lane departure warning which normally depends on whether driver uses a signal when changing lane or not

QUOTE(blurjoey @ Mar 14 2021, 08:28 PM) Currently reviewing it in my car [attachmentid=10810463] I can say it is as good as the F770. All car manufacturers will say void warranty if install dashcams 70mai is the cheapest d. But you can look at BlueSkySea B4K. any chances will you publish the review article about the product? interested to know about your thoughts on F200 Pro.

Looking at Thinkware F200 PRO, BlackVue DR590X-2CH, BlackVue DR750X-2CH and iROAD X9 at the moment. ya same, waiting for sifu to post the review before making decision. still abit hard to convince myself to go for Thinkware F200 Pro when I see Yi Dashcam those are dirt cheap....

QUOTE(blurjoey @ Mar 21 2021, 12:51 PM) It's an entry-level dashcam. Go for higher range if can. will adding CPL filter help? https://www.sicurez.com.my/collections/thin...ware-cpl-filterIn addition, just curious how does the dashcam maintain list of speed cameras in Malaysia, is there any software OTA update to facilitate this?
