my wife HRV we did through floor/carpet then back up to the rear most pillar (c pillar?) to route through the wiring weather proofing rubber grommet that goes through the hatch rear door/bonnet then finally rear window through the plastic trims removed slightly

And I think the value is hard to beat from the premium brands

No issue on my A800s but car is mostly park shaded

2 units of the Very first 70Mai model (now known as basic 1S, Back then no model name) since very early Q1 Jan 2018 or so.

Until today no issues

A800S model bought not too long since its release, also no issue.

A800 Was mounted on HRV which later salvaged and moved to latest civic

All 3 cars had good tints however not full time parked outside under hot sun.

i don't experience lag at all.
4k 30fps viewing on dashcam itself and on phone and on uploaded view on youtube all no lag.
