Hi guys, is there any dash cam that doesn't require any wiring/cable connected to the car? And do you guys remove your dash cam and keep it away from prying eyes when you leave your car? Or thiefs won't bother to smash your windows to steal a dash cam nowadays?

1) How is the 70mai Pro mounted? using a suction cup or adhesive? if adhesive, can it be easily removed to adjust position without affecting the tint?
2) How long will the battery last?
3) How much is the price and how do you ensure that the unit is original?

I see, that is the reason i am reluctant to get a dash cam few years as I cant stand seeing the dangling cables in my friend's car and also worried that any tampering my void my car's warranty.

Haha yeah, I will probably be too lazy to put the cam back on but at the same time worried about getting the windows smashed.

Okay I will eliminate the thought of windscreen being smashed as I seldom park my car at secluded places

I meant something like the picture below. This way, the wires has a shorter path and can to be connected to the usb port/cig port at the center console without hiding them on the roof.

Will the video be 're-written' automatially (dont know the correct term) on the SD card or we have to erase the video manually before new video can be recorded?

What is the main weakness of 70mai A400 versus 70mai A500S? screen resolution is almost the same but over RM100 difference

For A500s, can I just install the front unit without the rear unit first?

And to download (save video), have to manually take out the SD card or downloadable from apps?

I am not sure if I want to run the wire along the car roof lining yet.Roof lining is beige, so appearance wise is kinda ugly if didnt hide it properly. The gap is quite tight. Anyone runs it along the floor instead? At least can hide below the car mat.

Will watch that. I actually just saw one youtube with same car as mine. Then realize pillar A has airbags.

1. Phone app is unable to detect A500s bluetooth. It says to turn on the A500s hotspot and then it got connected. I am confuse here, Actually no bluetooth connectivity? How can A500s becomes a hotspot or wifi when it is not under any telco data? Means whenever I connect the phone to the app, I cannot use mobile data for other things.

2. Everytime to view the photo and video on the app, I have to turn on the A500s unit ie. turn on car engine. Means cannot view it remotely?

3. Just fixed the front unit. Have some bubbles when sticking the electrostatic film Wondering if possible to use any USB port in the car, rather than the ciggie lighter/USB adapter?

4. Tomorrow will fix the rear unit. Is it okay to paste it on the defroster grid lines. No way to avoid them.

Done installing rear dashcam too. Unable to avoid the defroster strip. Also, placed it slightly lower than the topmost area to avoid being hit by rear-curtain. Even that, it still slighly hits it but no choice. Manage to hide the excess wire at the car boot.

Are you guys able to make the Voice Command function working? For example, Take Picture to capture a picture. Unable to find ways to enable it at setting.

The rear dashcam is affected by reflection. See pic, the arrow is ponting to the end of my boot. Abit hard to see
