Eventually the power button failed (stucked) ,
Went to One Utama Customer Service Centre and the person who attended told me power button no longer repairable I guess due to no spare part stock? But battery can replace 🙄
I wonder should I try other SC ?

Got Huawei Support Center called back after communicated with human agent regarding the power button stock,
It is confirmed parts no longer available.
Guess need look for third party service providers that can do the repair..
Anyone have any trusted phone repair shop can recommend?
The power button and volume control buttons on my Mate 20X were out of order since last year. Don't need to repair, just download a Power Menu app to restart the phone if required. I use this app if the phone needs to be restarted for some reasons (slow operation, some apps hang etc.) Went to One Utama Customer Service Centre and the person who attended told me power button no longer repairable I guess due to no spare part stock? But battery can replace 🙄
I wonder should I try other SC ?

You only need to ensure that the phone will always have enough power and don't let it automatically switch off due to low battery. Otherwise you won't be able to switch on the phone again. I have no issue with this arrangement as my phone's battery is always charged.
You can always change to a phone if it's too much of a hassle to you. Don't need to repair already. As a matter of fact, I have bought a new phone last year as a replacement, a Vivo X90 Pro just in case I need to swap to the new phone anytime. Nevertheless, I'm still using the Mate 20X as I don't like to waste something that can still be used.
