Mate20pro is a good buy IF you don't compare the camera with P30Pro. Or else, if you go for camera, you should go to P30Pro as it has better camera. Specs wise, almost same like M20Pro only thing different is pricing!

Parked. Away from this Mate 20 quite sometime.

why not? The camera is gooding. So far no smartphone can shoot up to 50X zoom. So they are the first and of course the pricing would be a bit higher. And don;t forget it's 256GB storage and with additional storage costs about 300-400 more from 128GB (highest capacity for Huawei previously).

For me I would go for the technology (camera) and money not the concern!

Actually I prefer the X for the battery size too but it feels a bit too big. Need to try the demo set again and see how it fits in my jeans

Have you tried observing how much the battery drains overnight while sleeping?

Yesterday was charged overnight, because unboxed at 11pm
And scheduled update at 3-4am.

Its not surprised the price drop like every month and next year release another new model, so far my mother happy with mate 20 x.

Huawei users can enjoy a discount of up to RM2,200 when they purchase the P30 or P30 Pro if they trade in their old Huawei smartphone.

Users who absolutely need the latest device can trade in last year’s Mate 20 for RM1,500 rebate and Mate 20 Pro for RM2,200, while the P20 is valued at RM1,050 and the P20 Pro at RM1,250.

The Level Up programme, organised by Ingram Micro Malaysia Sdn Bhd, only allows one trade-in per customer.



According to Huawei, Ingram Micro has sole discretion in determining the trade-in value, as the value posted on its site is only for devices in excellent condition.

Customers can visit a Huawei Experience Store to trade in their phone when the P30 range becomes available on April 6.

There are three models in the series – the P30 with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at RM2,699, the P30 Pro with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage at RM3,799, and the P30 Pro with 8GB RAM and 512GB storage at RM4,399.

Both the P30 and P30 Pro with 256GB storage will be available in three colours: Aurora, Breathing Crystal and Black. The P30 Pro 512GB will only come in Aurora.

May i know is Mate X start to sell in Malaysia?

My 20X drain 2 to 3% ( overnight over 7 to 8 hours) only with everything left on. If I disable location , WiFi , Bluetooth at times even zero drain!!
Best battery performance amongst all the Android I had used so far
SOT easily at least 11 hours...with more WiFi 12 to 13 hours is common
