when you do the subsales all this need to be done by the lawyer , else cannot go through right ?

The lawyer office only handles the transfer of ownership with the local land office. The lawyer would then inform the seller once the deemed transaction has been approved and the ownership has been passed on to the buyer.

With regard to cukai taksiran, it's a matter between the seller and the buyer only. The lawyer would facilitate the process via notice or reminder to either party only. But the new owner would bear a greater risk of property confiscation if he/she continues to ignore the change of ownership notification with the relevant local authorities.

I think he already ask you to read previous post where got someone posted the law which is snapped from the cukai taksiran letter itself
