I assume tempered glass for mini4 still fits into mini 5? But casing wise I think the cut outs for rear camera and volume button is not the same, if you are not particular I guess you can still go with the mini4 casing (not all)

QUOTE(westlife @ Apr 17 2019, 07:05 AM) Actually seems like only iphone 4 and 4s got home button wear and tear problem. they should at least put a taptic engine home button like the iphone 7 into the ipad mini 5, just surprised its still using iphone 6 home button in 2019... My iPhone 6 Plus and iPad mini 2 button are still going very strong after so many years. but the swipe up feature on ios12 kinda solve the issue.. not complaining This post has been edited by dikae: Apr 17 2019, 11:32 AM |

QUOTE(westlife @ Apr 17 2019, 04:04 PM) u know apple one. well.. dont really mind the bezel, dont mind the button as well...just a thought that i'd been good to put a haptic button instead of the same 2014 iphone 6 button...if they change the button, it is also considered as design change. remember the change to touch ID from ipad mini 2 to ipad mini 3? |

QUOTE(un_id @ Apr 17 2019, 05:44 PM) Looking at the trend between ipad 11 and 12.9", if there is ipad mini pro it will be priced somewhere 800 lower than ipad 11.. So it will be around 3.2k at base, perhaps hmmm sounds like it... but 3k+ for an ipad mini.... geez... |

QUOTE(westlife @ Apr 18 2019, 08:18 PM) For now, it is the design and latest tech such as face-is that makes it Pro. At least to me this is the most significant difference that totally cannot be replaced by cheapest iPads no matter how close the performance is. To me the only thing holding me back (prior to this) is the home button, the bezel is not much of an issue...I thought Iād be using the home button a lot (not a fan of assistive touch)..š But problem solved now that iOS 12 can swipe up to close app... |
