Ya, both devices are very tempting. Perhaps i'll just go for Air, i also think nobody regret buying ipad mini 5

Won’t regret buying either one..since they have similar specs...only thing diff is the screen size...get the one that suit ur usage the most....

Hi, my colleague helped me to grab an iPad mini from kK, but i see all iPad mini looks the same.. how can I differentiate mine was latest one?
*
There is a microphone at the rear center compared to mini 4, and of course the processor and etc.. iPad mini 1/2/3 are much more bulky..

Guys any good tempered glass for mini 5? Looking for one that doesn’t affect sensitivity coz also gaming on it like PUBG
*
i'm using the Moru tempered glass RM 113, you can get it from Machines or Mac Studio, quite happy with the result although I'm always a Hoda person.. smile.gif

Better than hoda? do u do gaming on it? Wonder would it affect sensitivity...
*
I think it’s very close to hoda, hoda has ‘slightly’ better oleophobic coat..but more fingerprint magnet..

tested pubg/fortnite and the tempered glass is good to go..

Can I turn off or disable power button while playing game? After plugging in earphone, i need to play it with upside down, but my right hand keeps on pressing the power button or volume button though.

I've been charging mine with a 30w charger (PD) using Usb-C to Lightning cable, no problem so far. Definitely can feel the fast charging.
Not sure how much difference between 10w vs 12w though.
*
how long does it take to do a full charge? maybe 10% to 100%? using the stock adapter 10W charges about 2 to 2.5 hours....

iPad mini 5th comes with 10W adapter right. If i use the cable given and 12W adapter, would it be any different? Like faster charging? Would it hurt the iPad in the long term charging it with higher W adapter?
*
QUOTE(un_id @ Jun 24 2019, 05:06 PM)
apple do offer 29w charger for faster charging. so its natively can be charged faster, it won’t hurt the ipad
*
it wont hurt the ipad definitely, but the battery yes.... the high heat will eventually weaken the battery life in long run..
