in case anyone wondering how long an ipad mini can survive.. here a living proof.. on the left my kid’s ipad, was bought in 2012, then i passed it to her.. in fact this ipad is a year older than my kid.. she is still using it now. there is no problem at all with the ipad, even all buttons are still functioning, battery life still decent (i never change battery yet), screen is all good condition.. probably the best amount money i’ve spent on anything. lol

Yup I also have my iPad mini 2 and 3. I am still using iPad mini 3 as a daily driver. The size is perfect. IPad mini 5 is good to replace it, however, I prefer a new design so I will upgrade to iPad Pro 11-inch next year if it does get refreshed.

iPad is indeed value for money given its lifespan.

anyone know where i can buy casing for old ipad mini? tossed away my kid's ipad mini case because its too old. went to a few shops but none selling older ipad mini case.. the older one is thicker so newer case can't fit

I am using Ipad 1st Gen.
