they have a seminar to explain the process and steps of becoming driver , i think u can take accurate information from them , or u can try to ask some driver for more info , in my taman there are lots of grabfood/foodpanda drivers standby around the popular restaurants , they are very friendly , just ask them

The price for the food will be the same as walk in just add additional charge of delivery or will be higher bcos the shop need to give some share to Grab?

The price is same just add rm5 for delivery. I usually order Kenny Rogers and chicken rice shop since they dont have riders.

I see, that mean the shop earned lesser by giving some of the profit to GRAB.

When the economy is bad:
1. Those with CAR can be GRAB Driver.
2. Those with bike can be GrabFood Driver.

GRAB is good for the people and country.....last time when you jobsless u will not have much option to choose...now there is GRAB.

1. Customer order from app
2. Merchant get order from app and prepare food
3. Rider pickup job and take food from merchant
4. Rider deliver to customer

At No.3, merchant has no way to know if there are any nearby rider picking up the job or not, same with customer, at this timeframe the customer app will show the order status as "Order Received" until a rider pick the job it'll change to "Heading to Restaurant". That's why sometimes the order stuck at "order received" for long time when the food is already prepared. Hence you get cold serve.

Tips: When you see choice of restaurants in the app is less than the amount you usually see, chance is that there is no nearby rider. At KL near bukit bintang, you will see 10-20+ merchants under Malaysian category, but if no rider, it'll only show 1-2 and it may even be closed.

i respek these grabfood/foodpanda riders... they really show the passion in the job despite sometimes they ride bike cam haram but i do give way to them.. they delivering hot food to feed customer hunger, at the same time supporting their family..

Depends on the merchant.
Some same price, some higher

Grab is helping the economy in some way, if no Grab more people will be jobless and the number of theft will rise also.

I order grabfood at least 3 times a week now.

always get my order within 30-40 mins, food still warm.

don't need to bother traveling in and out just to makan.

what more can you ask for?
