About 20ish years ago my whole family usually eat satay based on our weight (e.g my dad was 80kg so he'd eat 80 pieces, my brother 50 pcs etc, everyone kinda follow this rule). We were all that crazy back then lol

I miss the china satay...lol...no sauce but flavour best. Lamb cooked by the local muslims in Beijing.

I bought 20 sticks Willy rm24.00 n 20 sticks Hakim rm20 yesterday. Weighted both. Satay sauce...Willy bigger pack.

Satay...both Willy n Hakim weigh the same...how I don't know..Lol

Taste. Willy taste better, more fragrant n less sweet.
Texture. Willy beef is juicy, not burn and Most of the meat are edible.

Hakimi beef...always 2 skinny 1 fat.. Taste sweeter, more sticky and more hard pieces n more fat.

My verdict: I prefer Willy though it'd 20 percent more expensive than hakimi...

Best part: If you go early, Willy will grill your satay to your liking....slow fire half cooked not burned.

Willy at ramal 1.
Hakimi at sg merab ...I chose the less busy pondok instead of the bigger busy stall.

my friend just tasted Willy Kajang satay last week out of curiosity of the taste.
his comment:-
the satay are pre-made hence when tabao it's cold and 'look' not fresh. it wil be better if they can grill it during order. no ketupat, only available those plastic tube beg rice. satay ayam colour different from norm (yellowish) more reddish. daging and kambing very dark colour hard to differentiate which is which.
taste is good
price:-
ayam rm1.1
daging rm1.2
kambing rm1.6

Samuri satay downhill since haji passed away. I went a few years ago. Expensive dry.

Bad experience with willy, but putrajaya branch. Tapau chicken beef lamb, balik open see all burned, cant even eat. Wasted rm45
