So is this mean for 1650 setup not worth to get 144?
Other than gaming, will 144 benefit normal day or office usage?
*
More importantly pixel response time....fast mouse movements/scrolling less blurring. Being 144Hz...the response time would have to be 6.94s or lower....

just found out about the Legion 5 with Ryzen 5...pretty good price for this spec here isn't it? However reviews at their own website shows some issues with this laptop...have they reduced the quality so much to be competitive on price that the reliability is bad now?

And do you guys buy from the Lenovo online shop or retail? Seems online shop is more expensive for the same specs...

AMD is still new...

Currently coupon codes are not working online. I wouldn't suggest buying retail units either as they have 120Hz 45% panel.

oh, didn't know it would be such an issue. I suppose this is the first time they use Ryzen in laptops?
btw, what do you mean by 45%?

Hey there,
I just remembered reading about your laptop issue. Also saw your review on the lenovo website.

Just wondering - is your laptop issue resolved ?
If yes, what was the issue really? hmm.gif

Hi hi,
Yup Lenovo's tech came over this week.

BIOS kaput - whole mobo changed.
Luckily SSD ok.

The model/product was so new that the mainboard cant even be "registered" via the BIOS, after changing in - had to arrange on Thu to do so.
Mr. Kenny who did the test & change was very professional & good.

IMHO - i'm still apprehensive about buying another Lenovo in the future even though good thermal and other design - build quality (near DOA) & parts availability (2-3 weeks).
