Free data or expensive data of course no speed cap. Unlimited data capped at 7.x Mbps, it's been stated over and over again here.Official TM Unifi Mobile Fans Club & Enquiries V8, #khabar baik

QUOTE(duhduh1234 @ Jul 24 2019, 03:54 PM) Guys, do you ever receive sms from unifi for reminding line activation (unifi mobile bebas) for 30 days? The previous sms only remind me to stay active without mentioning the deadline. Also, isnt that the activation period is 90 days? Or is it informing me that i have 30 days left of 90 days? i am confused Unifi very stupid one. Everything reverse. I will get the reminder SMS to keep my line active only if I use my Unifi mobile sim (which is 2nd sim). When I don't use, I don't get reminder. This post has been edited by Ngto: Jul 24 2019, 06:54 PM |

QUOTE(stephantsen @ Sep 20 2019, 10:55 PM) That what I am saying. Will they have some sort of detection whereby you must only use the B618-65d and no other model. |

QUOTE(tympg @ Sep 21 2019, 05:41 AM) There's a SIM-only option. What advantage does TM get in forcing users to use 3rd-party B618 routers? Maybe it's for previous Unifi users who already bought the B618 router from them for other Unifi plans. So now they don't need to subscribe to new router again. This post has been edited by Ngto: Sep 21 2019, 07:39 AM |

Just applied Unifi Air 79/-p.m (Sim only). No contract. Upfront rm100/-. Got sim on the spot, ready to use. Will insert into my Huawei E5186-22a (Which support band 38 only) when get home tonight.
My area not shown on Unifi air coverage map. Hope no issues, if not have to cancel next day and get my 100/- back less one day usage. This post has been edited by Ngto: Sep 23 2019, 03:40 PM |

Hope no issues, if not have to cancel next day and get my 100/- back less one day usage. Inserted Unifi Air sim into my Huawei E-5186-22a router which only support Unifi Band 38. Unifi Air sim ( which is advertised as unlimited and up to 20 Mbps) connected at Band 38 only can get 3.xx Mbps. But my Unifi mobile Bebas Sim in the same router, same Band 38 can give me cappped speed of 7.xx Mbps Unifi Air must be heavily capped , and half the speed of capped Unifi Bebas. Tomorrow I will return Unifi Air for a refund. ------+---------------------------------------------------- Further updates Ok, the slow speed was due to testing done at peak hours. Here is the speed at 3.30 am in the morning. Guess will keep it after all. 👍👍 This post has been edited by Ngto: Sep 24 2019, 04:09 AM Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(xeon1989 @ Sep 24 2019, 12:15 AM) Inserted Unifi Air SIM to my B618, getting 40Mbps for Band 40. Ok, I confess. I tested it during peak hours. Must be the congestion. Please refer to my updated post for the testing done at 3.30 am in the morning 🙂Not able to get Band 38. I guess it depends on coverage? |

QUOTE(JuneResources @ Sep 24 2019, 01:39 PM) Did you try test make an VOIP call like whatapps video call, wechat call or something else? Sim is in router strictly for use as hotspot device and streaming.Because some of the companies block the VOIP call. The rest like steaming, browsing, gaming no issued. QUOTE(tomato people @ Sep 24 2019, 01:42 PM) This is strictly 4g only plan for my router. Didn't test in phone. This post has been edited by Ngto: Sep 24 2019, 02:15 PM |

QUOTE(JuneResources @ Sep 24 2019, 04:03 PM) No, what I mean is your router in the SIM card is unifi air, am I right? Not at home now. I try tomorrow.Try connect wifi to your phone by using this Unifi air, and then do you able manage to use your phone (by wifi connect this unifi air) to make whatapps call to somebody? I'm not trying to say you use this unifi air to make call.. (which is impossible..) |
