They probably give this free addon when most people already have an active plan. Only few people will benefit, unless the free addon last for a week.

👍 Good thinking. Digi got free stuff also. 1 gb free but full speed (I presume). Bebas unlimited offer much more worth only IF by coincidence you don't have any active addon running.

Digi prepaid unlimited 1/- per day (3mbps) is one time offer under Box of Surprise. Auto renew daily. Can put in router hotspot, but when you unsubscribe , the offer no longer available.

Umobile problem is the video SD 1.5 Mbps cap.

This is only for 1 day, sure have to use it first or else it would be pointless for them to give.

It's still capped at 7.x Mbps right ? So 3/- x 7 days = 21/-.

Might as well buy weekly unlimited for 20/-

You forgot after the expiry of your free data, it will automatically use your normal data at full speed. Better check properly 😊

Seriously? Still like that til now.? Gotta re-insert my spare sim (which I bought the 1 day free data and removed after expiry) and give it a try.

Actually I forgot. I had already inserted it back into my phone (2nd sim) before I activated the 1 day free. After 1 day over, I switched to my 1st sim to use (onexox).

Now I did speed test on my 2nd sim (unifi) , the data didn't deplete at first. So I did 2nd speedtest, also didn't deplete.

After some time, I checked status again , data depleted, haha . So reality is, it was just slow to update the usage data.

Webe. Waste time, very limited in klang valley, mostly for high rise. Fiber broadband + mobile ?. Too lazy to continue reading.

Most probably can collect already. But wait another day just in case. There is no queue now since no more free 20gb data like initial launch.

Even last year when I collected my sim with 20 gb free data, I collected it on the same day as I applied.

If you are looking for Unifi bebas prepaid, you can't just walk in and buy the sim. Download the mobile app and apply for the sim. Then determine whether you want the sim delivered to you or self collect from only listed tmpoints.

Looks like Unifi has discontinued the 55/- monthly unlimited festive promotions.

Umobile GX30/- is 30/- , that's why it's capped at 3mbps (1.5 Mbps for video).

Unifi Bebas unlimited is 80/- (20/- for 7 days) is capped at 7-8 mbps with unlimited hotspot.

They are both different things at different prices.

He is saying waste of money buying B618 for Unifi mobile. Cheap Tenda 680 also can do the job.

Update

Did a few speedtest on my phone , it went back to 7-8mbps.

But Netflix on my Samsung TV connected to router WiFi (hotspot) still can't get above 2 Mbps.

Subsequently did some switching to my 2nd Unifi sim on my phone , turn off WiFi, then switch back on wifi, somehow Tv Netflix seem to have returned to 6.88 Mbps. Acceptable.

Are you sure? I can't test until I get home tonight. But be careful, you might be using the balance of your free data or hispeed data you might have purchased before.

That router doesn't support any of Unifi mobile bands.
