The answer is yes

Max speed around 7mbps
My usage around 30-50gb per week, but no speed capped..
But yeah..speed is slow, not much you can download
Anyone in johor?kluang?

Unifi speed here extremely slow...haiyaa
*
Yeah, same as me. Last time it used to only cap around 10mbps, now it is further reduced to 5-7mbps...

It's really ridiculous...

TM needs to do more to optimize the network. I realize sometimes when the 4G coverage is bad and it drops to 3G, the network is observed to be less aggressive to connect back to 4G when it is strong enough.

My personal opinion: TM still needs to further optimize the 4G network especially for moving user scenario. It has been happening many times that the roaming handover between 4G cell sites is not seamless and often it drops to H+, and it would stick to it for very long time until there's manual intervention.

For those who subscribe the unlimited postpaid, how's the speed for the 3G or is there any restriction for the 3G?

Speed of 3G is acceptable. Restriction of 3G is NONE but if you using a non band 5 phone, it's capped at 5GB only.
*
Well it cannot be none because the 5GB on 3G is a restriction.

even MCMC say no problem....nothing much you can do lo.
i think the best to have it on the phone will be Celcom...Hotlink.

Digi to me is like shit unless i put on Huawei B618...

Phone antenna very low signal strength and the reason is it need to conserve your battery.

That why i have no problem running inside modem..

it better you test all Sim possible...on your current phone

like my place...
inside house.....
Celcom and Hotlink very good....no problem
even Suprisely UMobile also ok

Digi...Unifi  all sucks

Each telco has its own base station I think. Unless they have agreement to share a single base station.

The upcoming NFCP phase 1 will be the sharing model.

Call drops is the default fiasco for UniFi Mobile since the "webe" era... they don't bother to improve anymore because the intermittent of LTE and 3G switching on the background...

You may try to lock the phone/device to Band 5 only to see any improvement...
*
Well it’s now a different government when I guess they can start to be a little more lax...

Remember before that, if it was not because of the strong directive from the previous communication minister, the incumbents were still trying to delay the price reduction for broadband...

At least to today, wired internet is still considered far more reliable than wireless internet.

Ridiculous, the longest downtime ever.
Thank goodness the ‘tak apa’ culture spares them off, otherwise the whole board of directors gotta bow down and apologise in front of media.

need to extend the validity of my cards end of the month. since now there's no more free 1GB, which is the best way to do this ya?

1) to subscribe the RM1 data for 2 hours? meaning use RM1 to extend for another 3 months

2) make an SMS via pay per use? not sure what's the rate, but i think it will be better than option 1 above, but will need to topup some credits inside then.

3) any other better options than the above?

thanks
*
I thought you just need to use the data/SMS or make a voice call to reset the validity counter?

Does anyone have experience this problem before?

My unifi bebas plan doesn't have internet connection despite that it show 4G with full bar and my plan is still active. I can't open any app at all, even WhatsApp too.
*
I only know in my case, once it’s out of the 4G coverage, it will drop to 2G without data and it will never go back to 4G until you turn on and off airplane mode.

Hi All,  First time using prepaid. Any one can enlighten me below

If my active days are 0 and I still got validity 2 days, can I still use the plan?

And how come the topup not always increase the active day. I.e. top up rm30 add 30 days, subsequently topup rm5 but it didn't increase any active days.. Abit confused..

Emm I guess this is a wrong thread? This is unifi mobile and not umobile discussion thread.

Unifi mobile still performs badly on network handover and roaming. For times I am so frustrated that the signal will go to 2G for a short moment before the handphone can discover another network, and yet the data wont resume after it reconnects back to 4G network.

For my case, when the network falls to 2G, it won’t load any data nor making any call. I am not sure why is it so. It has no problem on 4G.

I am using an iPhone 8.
