I read from the Unifi community that Band 40 is for Unifi Air. I'm surprised that your Unifi Bebas sim card can access to Unifi Air network. If this is the case then it is a loophole that Unifi neglected. Nobody would RM79/month for Unifi Air already.
I believe Unifi Air and Unifi Mobile use the same network because I used both before. Back at 2019, Unifi Air connected to LTE band 5 which was the only band available at my location at that time. Now, my location has upgraded with LTE band 40, my Unifi Mobile can get band 40 most of the time and it's not loophole. Check my previous post HERE.You may be wrong because Unifi Air comes with free router, although that would bind you with 2years contract, and unlimited high speed internet (varies for each location), while Unifi Mobile Bebas unlimited data add-ons have a capped speed at 8mbps.

About 2 months ago I was asking about Unifi Air for the USJ 2/5J area and was told there is no coverage. Now I know that even Band 5 signal is so weak at that area, so don't dream about Band 40 signal.
Is there any router that can display all the detected band signals and also have the option of letting u manually pick which band to use, instead of auto select by the router ?
Huawei B618s-65d shows which LTE band you're connected to on router webpage. Is there any router that can display all the detected band signals and also have the option of letting u manually pick which band to use, instead of auto select by the router ?
You could use HManager app to lock at certain LTE bands, but that may cause the RJ-11 connected phone to malfunction.
