With the refresh of new offering, it might become the cheapest telco to offer just unlimited calls to local network. (RM110 for 1 year - including unlimited call pass for RM5 X 12 month and RM50 for 365 days validity)

You won't get this kind of deal anywhere else and the closest is Yoodo with 4000 min calls for RM12. (usually, you need to subscribe to data packages in order to get unlimited calls.) However, this is Unifi Mobile, and since they are well known to change and remove a lot of terms and things WITHOUT NOTICE at their own discretion, it might be a risky option.

Gais...currently I'm facing a very weird issue with my Unifi Mobile. I am still using the Unifi Mobile bebas for a start.

recently my phone cannot detect the internet even though there is signal and showing 4G/LTE or even 5G. Initially I thought it was my phone problem so I did not do anything about it. But after change to new phone also it is still showing got signal as 5G/4G/LTE but still same thing, no internet connection detected and I cannot browse internet at all.

Strange thing is...I can make/receive calls and also send/receive sms. I went to change sim card...and still facing the same issue...

any idea what else I can do? so weird this issue... especially when use two different phones, change sim card...all same problem...got signal, but cannot detect internet...

I also tried reset network, check APN settings (even confirm and ask unifi mobile customer service)...

Not all are given the 60min complimentary and SMS right, only those affect by forfeited purchased SMS/Voice get that?

Hi, for those who still have the old plan, DO NOT EVER convert them to the new UNI5G WOW Prepaid plan. This is why...

i got 3 numbers using the old 90days validity plan. i checked the new app and found the option to Change the plan to the new prepaid uni5g WOW for 1 of the number...but this was a big mistake!

1. Upon plan conversion, they messed up my account. That no can no longer receive call & sms. Outgoing call & data working fine. Made many support ticket + go to tm point, they still cannot fix it till now.

2. The new plan only have 30 days validity. The only way to keep active are by topup RM1=1day, or buy Validity pass (RM1=3days, RM50=1yr). The old plan still remains with 90 days validity as long as you're active (use sms, call, data, topup). With the new app, its now easy to check when the no will expire.

3. Both old & new plan no longer has SMS passes but changed to PAYG. But the new plan charge 0.15 per sms deduct frm credit, the old plan only cost 0.10 per sms.

4. As of now & tested my self, the cheapest way to maintain validity for the old plan is to just send an 0.10 sms on day 89th, make it a total of 40sen to keep active for 1 year lol. If you send the sms on any day, it will update the validity date in the app to 90days from sms sent day.

5. compared to spend rm50 for 1 yr validity for the new prepaid plan.

Few other things to note.

- After changing to new plan, i get free 8GB 5g data (30day) + 2gb 4g data (30day) + Free 2GB 4G Quota (no expiry) under My Service section.
- From older post here I see someone comment that the Free 2GB 4G Quota (no expiry) cannot be used, but on the new plan, it is working and can be used when there're no other data plan active. Currently my free 8gb+2gb data had expired, it is deducting usage from the Free 2GB 4G Quota (no expiry).
- I'm not sure if the Free 2GB 4G Quota (no expiry) also working for the old plan since i'm not able to test it yet, need to finish data from other passes first.

I am thinking of porting my Digi Prepaid number to Unifi Mobile WOW Prepaid.

This is beause Digi has recently raised its Super Long Life 365-day validity from RM38 to RM108. This is crazy.

I rarely make calls, send SMS or use the Internet.

I need a cheap long validity plan to keep costs down.

Is WOW Prepaid a good choice or should I also consider Hotlink Pantas?

What are the pros and cons? Thanks!

Good idea! I never thought of that.

But I can't keep checking if the 90-day grace period is expiring and Digi will re-use my mobil number.

I cannot afford to lose the number.
