Hi,
I am planning to open an account in StashAway.
Since it is automatic buy and sell ETF based on the goal that we insert initially, may I know are you satisfy with their investment strategy? Are you actually earning?
I do not have idea about ETF in USA, is it wise to deposit for this investment as it is automated?

Hi all,
Are you happy with the performance of your portfolio so far?
I am a Wahed user. I have attended few webinar organised by SA. From the webinar, it looks like SA is managing their business better (just my opinion).
May I know considering the same risk level, which platform is better (if you have invest on both SA and Wahed).
Another thing is how do you know the platform has optimize your portfolio? If they did, do we always see positive in our account?

QUOTE(joshtlk1 @ May 27 2020, 11:21 PM) Hi I can't speak much about Wahed, as I just started a few weeks ago, and until now my money is still not invested. SA generally has better more ETFs under their belt, hence making it also better IMO. The last re-optimization, SA notify us on the platform itself. Whether it is positive or negative really depends on how long you have been invested with them. Current it is too soon to say if its was a good decision or not. The only way to really tell is to benchmark prior ETFs that SA invested in, and compare it to ETFs that they are investing now, maybe after a year? Providing they do not re-optimized again haha! Oh, then probably Wahed is still in MCOC. Referring to consistent to deposit money by interval to achieve cost dollar averaging. Does the return rates on any robot advisor will achieve a better return compare to FD or SSPN-i or EPF?

QUOTE(zerolord @ May 28 2020, 12:05 PM) I'm cashing out my 36% portfolio, and dumping the money into something else... Don't really like the 25% RMB and 20% Gold after the re-op. QUOTE(encikbuta @ May 28 2020, 12:24 PM) respect! like you, I'm still fuming over the reallocation to China & Gold. but unlike you, i'm still yelling to the moon, dun dare to take action. because of this reallocation, i'm looking into investing directly into the US ETF of my choice but my head almost meletup trying to find the right broker. QUOTE(PortgasDerekAce @ May 28 2020, 01:38 PM) SA look promising and attractive …until they decided to invest into China in 2020. Seriously? May I know invest into China is a bad idea?

QUOTE(ericlaiys @ May 29 2020, 10:01 AM) Nope. China has potential to recover fast as they exit Covid earlier. While i think US is going recession & the way the administration work dont look great and disappointed. I agreed on your statement but if SA optimise the users' portfolio to China, user should able to get better performance in the certain time period.

QUOTE(lee82gx @ Jul 29 2020, 08:11 PM) Suggest forget timing with stashaway. The basket of funds in every portfolio makes it hard to get best effect anyway. Even if you manage to time with FSM, the money actually just reach the hands of fund managers in time not get invested in time also.... For timing just go direct to etf or the counter you want...IMHO. these instruments just are the wrong tools. but their fee are consider low as also no currency conversion rate

Plaining to start in SA.
I have few questions.
When we DCA, will SA invest equally % to all the ETF or we can decide the % into each ETF from the DCA amount?
Based on my understanding, we only can select the risk factor and then system will allocate the ETF to us and we have no rights to request to add/reject the ETF. Is this correct?
Does all the people in the same risk factor will have the same set of ETF? Normally how many ETF will be included for a risk factor?
Which portfolio is worth to consider US index is reaching higher and higher in small amount and unsure on US government action in next month.

Hi guys,
I would like to ask whether StashAway Simple interest is credited daily and whether we can receive the fund on the same day of withdrawal?
What is the cutoff time to get fund receive on the same day even on weekends?
TQ
