Explanation i gotten. "Hi xxx, it seems that you have changed your portfolio risk level during the market crash from Feb to March, it was at a StashAway Risk Index (SRI) of 36% changed to 10% on the 22nd of March. Subsequently, the risk levels where change on these dates during the market rebound; 1) 2020-04-23 --> From SRI 10% to 16% 2) 2020-05-14 --> From SRI 16% to 20% 3) 2020-07-02 --> From SRI 20% to 14% 4) 2020-07-21 --> From SRI 14% to 20% Essentially, when there is a change in a portfolio's risk level, the system would sell off the ETFs that are not compatible with the new risk level and repurchase the new allocations. Having said that, if your portfolio is experiencing a "loss" or a depreciation in asset prices, by withdrawing or changing the risk levels, you will be inherently locking in those losses or realizing the losses. Hope this clarifies and please do let us know if you have any further questions" maybe my bad doing.. polarzbearz, eugenetwh, and 2 others liked this post
