QUOTE(zstan @ Dec 11 2019, 02:03 PM) Use your credit card to reload 10k to your BigPay and withdraw cash lah. Adoi. if you don't understand don't embarrass yourself. meanwhile you can withdraw your funds from StashAway which takes 2-3 days. +1. Easy way to get cash advance at very little charges rm0.50 to your bank account same day if u transferred before 11am. I think he didn't use bigpay or read about the terms so he didn't know.I used this way to have emergency cash too. |

And this way is good too cuz u can transfer your emergency cash amount into 0% Flexi installment if u can't pay back the huge amount in your next CC statement and leave your SA cash alone to grow.

QUOTE(honsiong @ Dec 11 2019, 03:27 PM) Shit, I forgot bout credit card topup, I always use M2U and CIMB. Mea culpa. Why neobank will remove cc top-up feature? But no, I still disagree with using SA as emergency. Maybe can do tiers like saving acc (instant), FD (available during daytime), SA (final tier, 3 days delay). Edit: I guess BigPay will remove cc topup once they transition to be neobank in 2020. |

QUOTE(ironman16 @ Apr 23 2021, 05:51 PM) Simple use to accumulate emergency fund ? or ........ So true. Withdrawal from StashAway simple is too long for me. Requested withdrawal on 17th April, today only complete sells the units and waiting for transfer, taking more than a week to facilitate withdrawal. That’s a Nono for me in terms of storing money in as emergency fund, I rather move to VERSA. anyone can enlighten me whether OCBC frank has a limit towards interest earning? Eg, if I put 100k into saving pot, all 100k will earn the interest?why dun just use others platform to accumulate ? like Versa or ......... |
