I’ve just sold all my StashAway. Will re-enter again when market is down

I used to DCA. Now market seems to b different compared to before when it was “steady”

My 36% got +48% return. If you wanna "lock" in profit, just reduce risk, dont bother withdrawing and pay currency exchange fees.Realize profit,

no currency exchange as u only instruct SA to sell (USD) and buy (USD).. if u withdraw then u will have currency exchange incurred on withdrawals as u can only withdraw MYR, not USD

Just set up a DCA. I invested in Jan 2019 and noticed that it was in USD and I suffered lost in FX. Hence i pull out the money but the portion not big.
Looking at current economy, I am putting in my fund in various sources:
1) Properties
2) Semi Flexi account in Housing Loan
3) Equity in Bursa - also want to accumulate REITs but it never come down
4) Etoro
5) And now im thinking at stashaway.

Hope its a great direction in putting in extra money and ready to sustain beyond the low interest environment now.

nope, dividend doesn't go into your "net deposits".

it will be recalculated and added into your "current value" and as part of your return.

Im investing majority of my savings in SA and Wahed. prob 50% SAMY 35% Wahed and 15% ASB. ASB only for emergencies.

I can see at least SAMY can survive a few more years before they gulung tikar.

Your either have a portfolio not from 36, 26 or 14, or you are reading the wrong dates.

I went from 219 -> 250 USD today, but surprisingly only went from 953 -> 983 MYR. Unless USD dropped really damn a lot (which doesn't seem like the case). I'm on 36% too

I noticed that as well. But some how I deposited last Thursday night, then the order fully completed by Saturday. Which was lucky cause bought before the rise yesterday hehe
