It is dangerous to time the market especially when you are still new. I will suggest to deposit every weekly until you are fairly certain on the market conditions.

Reading back a few pages make this thread looks more like speculation thread rather than investment thread. All are trying to time the market saying will go up or down. Let's see whose crystal ball is better...

This is bad, nowadays digital banks also can give 4% interest on saving account. Still, hope that it can do better during market good times

Despite their flaws in the past, my SA still gets around 7% annualized return (based on MYR) from past two years. Not sure if it is due to the current market uptrend in general and also I did conveniently disregard the bad record beyond the two years ago. If it can still consistently give me higher return compared to EPF then I will still stay put.
