so far i'm up RM3.4K nett, about 7% returns since Nov 2018. i kept all at 26% risk level..

yup..gradually put in over the few months up to 50k...

had actually dumped in 20k in december at 36%...suffered that initial drop, then switched out to 26% while the rest i just gradually also put in at 26%.. would have earned a bit more if i wasnt so aggressive...

then we lose on the currency exchange lo... so it's better actually to stagger your investments over time...

wow...what a roller coaster week... i'm still up 6.6 % (at 26% risk level).

let's hope trump doesnt make any more stupid comments...

this is why it may be more advisable to spread out investments over time..can spread the risk of currency fluctuations... i also kena the negative currency impact...

i started at 36%, lost quite a bit, then switched to 26% and managed to recover losses and now up 10.1%... some times, too high risk does not mean higher returns, especially when the market reacts to donald trump's tweets..

i withdrew all my funds two days ago..managed to get out b4 the huge drop yesterday. gonna wait a few weeks before going back in...

I think the amount of impact depends on the risk level one is at.. i was at 26%, so might have been quite substantive...

i withdrew all after 8 months - made 11% returns. wanted to test the withdrawal process..was pretty fast, money in my account after 3 days. now started going back in again...hehe

mine took about 4 days from the time i put in my withdrawal request to the time the money was in my bank account..

with recent reoptimisation, the daily fluctuations have reduced but also means the gains are not as much as previously...

mine just updated...dowm rm70 from yesterday. Luckily withdrew all beore the re-optimisation and huge drop in august. made 10K out of 50K over 8 months. since then have been putting in back slowly, now at 12K... but looking at continued uncertainties, may take an observant attitude for now. i kinda prefer the old investment portfolio before the re-optimisation episode. then only had to bother about trump... now with the inclusion of european markets, seems returns are not as good as before....

i was at 26%. my timing was quite good apparently..went in when market was down, profited with upswing..was good at predicting trump's tantrums and their effects on the DOW/S & P?Nasdaq......LOL but ever since the re-optimisation...not doing so good now...

true...hopefully market will be more stable and will go steadily up...
