Managed to set up Standing Instructions from my Online Bank to deposit every week.
But now that I have different portfolios, how do I set up another SI to deposit into a different portfolio?
I see StashAways own recurring deposit schedule only allows monthly deposits?

Hmm wanted to fully transfer funds from Portfolio A to B.
But somehow still left with net deposit of 0.34 cents in A.

Wanted to delete Portfolio A but doesn't allow unless you withdraw fully RM0.04 (current value).

Yet when I choose "Withdraw", it doesn't present the option to withdraw from Port A. But it will list all other Portfolios except A.

Same thing when I try to do another transfer.

So now am I stuck with this portfolio:
Net deposit: RM 0.34
Current value: RM 0.04
Total returns: RM -0.30

Maybe you could top up Portfolio A a little and try again.

Interesting, I've never tried transferring from one portfolio to another, but I think this would drive me insane because of my OCD. Perhaps try asking the support?

Well whatsapped their customer service and got a reply. Knew it has somehing to do with dividends.

Hi ,thanks for writing in!

The reason why you're unable to fully withdraw the RM 0.04 is because it is still in pending dividend payouts. The frequency of dividend payout depends on which ETFs you have in your portfolio, it could be once a month/3 months/ 6months/ year. Once you've received your total dividend payouts, you should then be able to withdraw the funds accordingly.

To view the dividends received, simply login to your StashAway account, click "Transactions" > View Transactions for General Investing. Hope this helps! smile.gif

I dont think its needed at all, a scheduled weekly IBG from bank website should work.

Sorry Maybank users.
*
Yes scheduled weekly IBG works.

My only problem is that the instructions to allocate amount towards each portfolio gets reset everytime after the money went through?

(Weekly RM150, 3 portfolios, RM 50 each).

So ended up have to set it weekly. hmm.gif

Use recurring deposit, not one time deposit  biggrin.gif
But from SA itself only monthly/quarterly options available
*
Thats the thing, no weekly for recurring deposits from SA so have to use standing instructions from bank website.

Direct debit cannot weekly right? I only see monthly or quarterly
*
Weekly can set up through your online bank standing instructions.

But if you have several portfolios, you still have to manually allocate how much goes into each portfolio every week. If not your money will stuck there and SA will send you an email asking you do so.

I also got one. Bought and only know can use once. Feel free to use it. Let me know once you redeemed. Bought in March... Not sure if they start counting 3 months from then.
*
Didn't know can only use once. hmm.gif Just redeemed then only realized. "Promotion code is not applicable" doh.gif

Should have use those coins to redeem other stuff instead mega_shok.gif

But then again, under the Boost terms and conditions it did say "Limited to 1 reward per customer" so its our own fault doh.gif

So here is another code feel free to use it

Please notify if redeemed successfully icon_rolleyes.gif

I gave them a call regarding the Simple. My question was can I setup a monthly or regular deduction from the Simple into my Investment portfolios.

Answer was YES.

However I don't see this option when messing around, trying to create a new regular deposit into my existing investment portfolios. To me its quite a hassle if I need to manually, individually create a 1 time transfer for each investment portfolio by transfer from the Simple to the investment....

Perhaps its because I have no balance inside yet...so like you guys I put in a small amount to test it out.

I believe its under
Cash Mangement>Stashaway Simple>Transfer>Schedule Recurring Transfers?

Find back old post... Someone bought twice and it didn't work the second time. They put the code in the thread in case anyone can use it.... Not sure if it still valid anymore but you can try...

I am one of them that bought twice and shared it out... Lol

Now I am worried.

Nothing is happening on my side yet sweat.gif

My recurring deposit is set on 29th every month, while for weekly I use my banks own Standing Instructions.

My weekly standing instruction didn't go through or got canceled today. hmm.gif

Stashaway still using Citibank as their account? The recent UOB takeover affected?
