Is there a chance of losing money on StashAway simple? My total return SA-Simple are RM 6.54 yesterday and today reduced to RM 2.97.
Within a night RM3.57 wipe off. I understand it is normal for an investment portfolio ... but not simple.

QUOTE(DragonReine @ May 7 2021, 12:16 PM) When did you invest? It's money market, dividends paid out on 6th, "returns" look lower because unit price reduced to pay dividends which you'll see in cash form. Your unit count is the same but NAV lower, you check assets there should have dividends in the form of cash. I DCA weekly from early march till the end of march total RM3k, and in April I didn't deposit any money since it keeps getting a consistent return. Just today morning I noticed the total returns had reduced. I am new to SA-Simple. Should I keep DCA like march or left it alone like FD ? This post has been edited by Nelsonz: May 7 2021, 11:53 AM

Now: Today morning: A follow-up today morning issues, I had reported the miscalculate dividends and the sudden wiped off total return via WhatsApp Now it seems back to the correct amount and returns the missing dividend to my SA-Simple. If others have these issues, might just report to SA. At least they solve my problem. This post has been edited by Nelsonz: May 7 2021, 04:49 PM

QUOTE(pinksapphire @ May 8 2021, 02:37 PM) Looks like this applies to me too, sigh... shouldn't have put in so much at that point in time... after my initial lump sum, I went on smaller DCA amount over the months...oh well, if I could predict the future, I'd be rich, haha, so let time help me, lol Question: On the other note, does it matter if I put in more during this low point of KWEB? I know allocation within is a fraction, but, asking in case that helps in any way? Thanks. Technically yes, you will get more KWEB units, however it also affects by USD conversion. Correct me if I am wrong.

I do monthly on SAMY 'schedule deposit.' This month had an issue for me. :'(.
I have 2 portfolios, deposited RM100 to Portfolio A on July 1st and deposit RM100 to portfolio B on July 3rd.
Today Portfolio B had converted the RM100 to USD which is normal. However for Portfolio A have 0 updates, the RM 100 never shows on the USD cash section. It went missing.
I had informed SA they ask me to wait 2-3 days more.

Sometime feels demotivated as KWEB keep going down, it always at negative number. as it took the biggest chunk on 36% risk of investment. (Started invest on SAMY early March.)
Sometimes wanted to cut the bleed to not drag down profit but don't have the control it make me frustrated. 😣

QUOTE(zstan @ Jul 8 2021, 12:39 PM) then perhaps 36% is not for you. go back to 22% I have 22% portfolio as well, KWEB still negative but the rest positive able to cover it. QUOTE Haiz… a lot of newbies here complaining again.
I hit -23% in 2018 after using stashaway for 17 months.
It’s not a smooth way up, its like roller coaster until it suddenly moons, like in 2019 and 2020H2 Hahaha, I am ok when general ETF goes negative as the market really bad. It felt like a needle keeps poking my attention when a single low-performance ETF drag down all profit. This post has been edited by Nelsonz: Jul 8 2021, 12:59 PM
