Just set up my account and link my direct debit. Do I need to wait or I can start investing immediately?

Few days back I was trying to transfer fund from bank to SA account but received this email
We weren’t able to complete your Direct Debit request because it looks like there are insufficient funds in your account. Please make sure there’s enough money in your account so you can complete your deposit plan. Once there are enough funds, you’ll have to set up a new deposit on the StashAway platform. Anything I did wrong? |

QUOTE(T231H @ Apr 25 2021, 06:30 AM) Thanks for posting this hardly seen info... I remember during the first 2 months I was making some gain. Then I tried not to monitor it (trusting whoever managing it). hope newbies that are intending to joins (even at "safest" risk index level)...read this... hope you can continue to update the status from time to time Should I stay put and be hopeful it will go up in the long term? |

QUOTE(T231H @ Apr 25 2021, 12:29 PM) Past data on mkts had always favour long terms... Thus I believe your fund will also go up in long terms, but this long terms is subjective. But past mkts shows if more than 8 yrs,... Very high chances of making decent gains..... I have the same thought too. Experienced similar thing in FSM where there were losses in the first 1-2 years but it bounced back. Just have to trust them.Just don't cut lose during the bear |
