It depends on how much you put as well so buy this weekend you check otherwise contact them on Monday morning next week

If its 1 week to transact, then its too long. In this day and age of electronics, even a day is a long time. 3 days is reasonable.

The Rm1 is the initial forced transaction that require to connect the account to SA.

1st time takes at least a week

After that will be smoother it will take 3 day so to reflect in your portfolio

The flow of transaction of buy is as follows

Deposit to Citibank under Pacific Trustee will take a day together with FX conversion
Once that’s is verified robo will calculate buy order and send the instructions the broker used to execute the buy order in Saxo which takes another or 2 depending on the market
Day 3 or 4 your portfolio will be shown together with the underlying assets and allocation

Unless you want fast go ahead open IBKR or TSG account used that to trade then

You should use your US portfolio buying growth stocks and ETF because you will expense ratio in particularly QQQ

Robo is only performing your risk assessment and management which will tell you on what portfolio to buy

It is just the same thought process on buying stocks just that it is more complicated because involves different sectors from Equities, Bonds, Fixed Incomes and Commodities on SA and allocation to each sectors

i have no time to monitor too many stocks. So my portfolio is limited to dividend stocks.
Nor do i trade frequently.

Robo is somewhat AI and they are programmed to trade. So that covers an area that i do not have time for. That is the general idea.

Robo is not AI yet till they’d have Machine Learning with Human Computer Interaction learning then it’s a true

Robo is only at the moment used to speed the process from deposit, submit buy order and execution of the buy order which are underlying still has a human to do programming on the calculations of the buy order

guys I would like to know...the proper way to invest into Stashaway is to stick to one risk index profile, monthly deposit and wait few years right? I mean there is no other way like tweaking the portfolio during certain period or what right?

I think its best to have multiple portfolio at different risk levels. I have 3 and they are between 16% to 36%. It's always good to spread your risk tolerance.

To really spread the risk, make sure that the 3 portfolios have the least or non overlapping ETFs.

oh...i am mistaken then. blush.gif
I would have thought it be easy to program the buy or sell order?
So there is not much difference in buying the ETFs directly then? Faster too!

Those are DIY brokerage accounts to trade US stocks and etfs.

Can also consider Tiger Brokers.

is there an "ideal" risk level on this?
i know there are risk adverse and risk loving investor and it really is based on individuality. However just for curious sake, i'm pretty sure maybe those extreme high risk level could face negative output more often than those extremely low risk portfolios
