QUOTE(Krv23490 @ May 8 2019, 03:00 PM) Yea, I think Trump was emo or bored. China if they wanted to be aggressive, they would delay the trip to Washington this week already but they still show face by still going ahead with the planned meeting QUOTE(neverfap @ May 8 2019, 03:13 PM) I saw some drop in March too prior to earning report. Some flicks are normal. This Trump har.. Want 2020 already still main. But surprisingly there popular % increase |

QUOTE(mapeyeo1 @ May 8 2019, 07:51 PM) haih, whats ur aim of growth of ur capital when investing in SA? i think im overambitious but when i think of the gains, i cant help but keep thinking on how to achieve it, cuz my aim is 12m in my networh/capital/saving/investment, hah maybe i should just aim for a very high ranking position in a company with high salary. Aim for high networth will not realize if youre not running a constantly profiting business or very high position in a company. maybe im crazy hahahaha |

QUOTE(Krv23490 @ May 9 2019, 05:49 PM) Hi krv23490 Wow Sial.On behalf of the StashAway team, I’m hosting our first insiders event on 23 May 2019. It’ll be a relaxed evening with professionals and entrepreneurs from a range of industries who’ve also recently started using the StashAway platform. Some of the StashAway team will also be there so you can get to know the people behind the platform, as well as ask any questions about investing, the team, or whatever else is on your mind. Yes, depends on your risk appetite. No harm in my opinion. I open 1 highest risk, 1 lowest risk I left out again. Fkkkkkkkkkkk ViktorJ T.T. |

QUOTE(B500 @ May 10 2019, 09:13 AM) Not sure if adjusting the risk to a lower setting is a wise move. Let's say we adjust fr 20 to 15, this means that we will sell some equities at a lower price, and then buy bonds at a higher price (looking at the trend the past few days). This transaction actually confirms our losses. I might be wrong though. Open for discussion. Well if you look it from another perspective. You're protecting the capital from further slopping. If from antoehr perspective, you are depleting your chance of getting high return after rebound If from another perspective, you are cutting your capital and buying something expensive as you said. |

QUOTE(y3ivan @ May 13 2019, 01:30 AM) New member checking in. Same with you. But I am on 3 5 2 Reading the old parts from sifus seems SA is not really making any profit for anyone yet. I'm currently on 6.5, 20, 36 with 2-6-2 ratio. Any care of advice about how reasonable this is to start with? Noobie investor here, hence why I thought to go with SA, I tried FSM and got burnt real bad. I am making profit.... When you enter? |

QUOTE(Mervin1234 @ May 13 2019, 10:20 AM) Hi all sifu's. Does anyone knows how dividen is converted into units ? Hmmm never think of this. I have made a list of purchase following SA buy order, the buy order units is so far tally with my total up. So what happen to my dividen receive ? shouldn't it be converted into units as well ? is yes then i should have more units available correct ? Hope someone can clarify this TIA. How big is your amount? I usually don't track as my monthly div hover around 1.5 USD and breakdown only 0.xxxx after daily movement it will adjust abit. |

QUOTE(honsiong @ May 13 2019, 10:53 AM) Not really sure what "converted into units" mean... He mean the div is in unit form or just like those UT drop in NAV.But they track how much shares you own at ex date pretty accurately. I adjusted down the portfolio risk level after SPY's ex date, but still gets dividends for SPY like 1.5 months after its ex (SPY takes very long time to pay out), so I guess I have no doubt about StashAway dividend payout. I think it's in unit form. |
