QUOTE(daniellehu @ Mar 29 2021, 08:03 AM) Hi, Based on your post,...EPF annual dividend is paid based on the number of monthly contribution. All deposits made by employers must be done on or before 15th day of each month. Dividend will be paid in full if the criteria above is met or severe penalty will be imposed on the employer who failed to do so as to be fair to other contributing members. If i had not been working for 10+ months and only started to work in Nov, my boss started to key in my contribution on 10 Dec.... That means I will still get pro rated 1 mth dividend for that year? |

For me,... If I can,... And if I want to,... I would let them try something more volatile like UT or robo.... (or any platform that requires little studies & time to monitor) The key thing is I want them to accumulate investing experience. I think, no amount of prior reading up and accumulating of knowledge can compare with actual investing experience which can only be built up by using their own money to invest. They have to experience the emotional pull that comes from market ups and downs and learn how to handle their emotions during those times. And I think learning from mistakes made is the greatest teacher." And then followed by how to detect & avoid being scammed like examples, Macau scams or investment scams and etc TOS liked this post

QUOTE(dopp @ Apr 12 2022, 10:38 AM) How does self contribution amount appear in kwsp web? Does it add up to those monthly amount auto deduct from salary? It will be in detailed transaction per incidence just like the monthly employment entries,.. It will have a different transaction code to differentiate between the self contribution n the normally monthly employment contributions. Then the total sum will be combined as total balance |
