As a whole, in fact alright bcos self contribution in 2nd half year also received incentive within the year.
For those who has not top up, i wonder when will they receive if they top up now?

But buy but. (I was waiting for someone to calculate the loss of interest from gov contribution)

300 @ 6% pa for 2 months late, means 3 rm loss.
1 kopi ping eh.

since we are discussing about self contribution here. One of the purpose is for tax exemption. Is the coming YA2024 similar to YA2023? Cos epf tax exemption method is not mentioned in the latest budget 2024.

HI, wanted to ask you all my mom just receive a letter from EPF stating that she can no longer deposit any money into EPF account after the age of 75, and as such should stop contributing into it immediately. I thought EPF can top up until 100 years old?
*
QUOTE(poweredbydiscuz @ Nov 23 2023, 10:55 AM)
Self contribution only until 75. Dividend will be given until 100.
*
cukup la tu. time to relax at that age rather than further savings.

The facts is top up $1K in Apr & another 1K in Jul & received incentive $300 on 22/11/23.
That's why I asked.
Apparently most of you here top up 2K in 1st half & didn't notice this.

January - July deposit gets $$$ in November too

I tried to make a small contribution via the kwsp app, chose my bank and the transfer went thru after tac approval but when back, showed some page say fpx duplicate detected blah blah. Went back to the kwsp app and didn't show any acknowledgement.

Since this is my first time doing transfer, can I ask does the kwsp app show any acknowledgement after contribution went through? (Whether immediately in app or after a few days). I look in the app, it still says no self contribution for November. The money has been deducted from my bank account tho..hmm.

Alamak. Be patient. It will not reflect immediately nor show acknowledgement. They won't update on sat or Sunday and it takes 3 working days usually. Check it on Tuesday night 12am. They usually update it at night around 12am.

Thanks. As I mentioned is my first time making online contribution. Needing a few days to reflect in the balance is fine and understandable but some form of acknowledgement that the contribution has been received is to me basic etiquette of online transaction.

The statistics is not accurate at all. Do you know how many are actually paying tax and epf in Malaysia? Some without EPF have more than a million as FD or equity.
