cost for food is a bit cheaper in malacca when compared to KL~ room rental is also cheaper~ but other costs like comfort of home, home-cooked food and savings through using 1 less Streamyx account and the privacy may be a factor~some how I'm studying in Uniten and it doesn't seem that way.

generally I would advice students to take a trip and see for yourself~ distance between your home and the university can play a big role~ these days, degree eduction don't mean much after the initial first job anyway~
