This back door open inwards or outwards? They should be two doors. Notice the gap where light trickles in. Unless corrected, rain and insects can come through the gap. Or is there another inner door that's not yet installed?

Looking forward to see the rest. Looks nice!

Should not be voltage issue. I installed those lights+fan from TB, only complain from installer is the hook need to modify.

btw, did you 5) Extend 7 feet master bedroom? Can you show some pics?

And please do update us on final reno cost.

The part after the beam is the extended part for the master room which I'm quite dissatisfied with the existence of the beam after extended.

The final reno cost will be reveal soon because the house haven't ready for move in yet.

You see the original design of the backdoor is oepning inward, there is a reason for that, its for security concern.

Your new backyard door open outwards, which means the hinges are exposed to the outside, burglar can just remove the hinge and your door will come right off...

Hmm, i guess to keep cost low the beam has to stay. It is a structural beam to hold the house, not easy to remove/replace.
Just dont place your bed under it, bad fengshui

Yes, thats the most headache part because I really plan to combine both my queen size bed which move from old house and new king size bed as I got 2 kids now which I think they not willing to sleep alone yet.

Mainly that and to alleviate from heat stress by avoidance of conduction of excessive heat from the ground.

Same thing. Its always recommended to place the compressor on the riser. The riser should have anti vibration pads as shown in the link given.

Also one more thing, the compressors are placed too close to the wall on its left side for the one the bottom pic I quoted. Its needs space to "breathe" to prevent premature compressor failure due to heat stress. Although York's manual online doesn't show it (but floor support aka risers are shown), Acson's manual does as seen on page 4. Many others will show as does mine too in the manual (pg 35).

Come to think of it, the wall mounted Daikin compressors too. They are too close under the roof eaves. Usually, I would leave at least 8"-12" clearance from under the eaves.

Yes, I do have a main contractor to do most of the renovation, for electric parts, he only cover some, additional installation such as water heater, water pump etc he quote us in higher price, so we ask another electrician to do the remaining, the electrician also help me install my electrical curtain track at no additional cost.

What I can see here that the workmanship is very good, but the tasteful of color and material selection seem weak. Too ordinary / typical . End it's all about taste. My 2 cents. cheers !

Yes, I do have a main contractor to do most of the renovation, for electric parts, he only cover some, additional installation such as water heater, water pump etc he quote us in higher price, so we ask another electrician to do the remaining, the electrician also help me install my electrical curtain track at no additional cost.
