hi,
since our finance minister annouce the first home buyer duty exemption..i am planning to buy myself a home,my budget is around 800k-1m.

i was looking at City Residence opposite island plaza, there is a seller offering me 900k for 1250sf tower A middle floor....what do u guys think...is it worth it? or is there anything bad i should know about this property? feel free to give me a better recommendation also...

btw, there is mall below the condo but looks kinda empty...are they planning to do anything there?

Overpriced in my opinion, this developer is still selling the units after so many years which probably tells you how soft their sales are. If you prefer Tanjung Tokong area, there are many projects along Mount Erskine (The Peak, Mont Residence...etc) which probably gives you better value, or even The Tamarind near Straits Quay

dude only direct purchase from developer under rehda programme is entitled for the stamp duty waiver. pls be informed

I highly believe that this developer will be registering under Rehda program, considering that they still have a huge amount of unsold units. In any case, some developers do give out free rebates, no stamp duty/legal fee without the HOC. Do check if this developer is already doing so.

went to see tamarind yesterday....below 1m one only left low floor smaller size house with horrible view sad.gif

I assume you are referring to developer units as I can see quite a few sea view units selling below 1m in Mudah. Tamarind was launched quite some time ago so obviously all the good units are already taken. Actually, there are quite a lot of good deals in the subsale market now so you might want to ask yourself if buying from developer just to save on the stamp duty is really worth it

yea i agree...i saw most of the subsale have better deal than developers even after include agent fee etc...i might end up buying from them instead...
