hi,
since our finance minister annouce the first home buyer duty exemption..i am planning to buy myself a home,my budget is around 800k-1m.

i was looking at City Residence opposite island plaza, there is a seller offering me 900k for 1250sf tower A middle floor....what do u guys think...is it worth it? or is there anything bad i should know about this property?  feel free to give me a better recommendation also...

btw, there is mall below the condo but looks kinda empty...are they planning to do anything there?

Overpriced in my opinion, this developer is still selling the units after so many years which probably tells you how soft their sales are. If you prefer Tanjung Tokong area, there are many projects along Mount Erskine (The Peak, Mont Residence...etc) which probably gives you better value, or even The Tamarind near Straits Quay

I assume you are referring to developer units as I can see quite a few sea view units selling below 1m in Mudah. Tamarind was launched quite some time ago so obviously all the good units are already taken. Actually, there are quite a lot of good deals in the subsale market now so you might want to ask yourself if buying from developer just to save on the stamp duty is really worth it
