anyone actually send their unit to singapore apple for out of warranty replacement? i see singapore apple charging sgd888 for other repair which is most likely replacement package, but machines charging 3599 not include service charge. better ask someone staying at singapore to send to singapore for repair then? nearly 1k difference. I asked optiprimus they charging me 3799 for exchange unit.. they can take in my dual sim unit.
fuk i just checked with t&l telecom.. they seems like reluctant to provide service to send to apple service centre for service.. they only can take in warranty unit.. they give me reason like water damage is like they dont know what part is broken. later fix this that problem come out.. but i just want to send to apple authorized service provider, which they only provide replacement/exchange for water damage. They dont fix the phone.

Hope it comes sooner this time. Still waiting for Apple store in KL though sigh.

i see.. ya the price is more palatable. My Sis is in SG, but i worried they wont take in my HK unit. When i talked to Apple support chat, they actually say the apple service provider in malaysia may not be able to fix my unit because is different region. I have fren going back to China so it may be my best bet to get it replaced/repaired there, around 2.7k myr only. Yeah T&L is like pusing 1 round say macam they reluctant altho i say i will pay everything including delivery.

Impossible. If u can get extra ‘1GB’ from last year iPhones, it is already a ‘surprise’.

Anyway, it is known for iOS to have good memory management. Apple definitely gives u ‘enough’ ram to run for years (at least 5 and above).

indeed. becos u cannot confirm if ur recipient have imesssge or not too. but not iMessage problem. Becos nowadays people do not use sms. iMessage actually save people on the number of sms quota last time becos if it is iOS users, sms will be sent as iMessage.

But to me iMessage is still good becos I can forward sms between all my Apple devices such as those TAC message. On all devices when I do internet banking, I can see and input those tac without looking at the particular iPhone.

The new model launching in a few days will be called the IP XI Pro this round bro... Anyway, it will will be sharing the same display as per last year's Xs Max. In short, same display, same design, same size, minor updates to the internals, a larger battery, an extra camera, front wide angle camera. That sums it up.
So another reason to hold on for another year.   attw

According to a new report, Apple is at work on in-display fingerprint authentication technology similar to what we’ve seen used by Samsung, OnePlus, Huawei, and other Android phone makers. This would mark the return of the company’s Touch ID method of security, which would coexist with Face ID to give consumers two ways of quickly bypassing the device’s lock screen.
Bloomberg’s report follows a similar report last month from noted industry analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. Kuo also said that Apple wanted the in-display fingerprint sensor to work alongside Apple’s Face ID facial recognition technology on the iPhone. Kuo however said it wouldn’t be ready until 2021.
