If the price is close to an iPhone 11, I'd probably sacrifice the higher res AMOLED screen, telephoto lens, stainless steel frame and compact size of the XS and get the 11 which takes better photos (especially at night), wide angle lens, and has much better battery life though.

If it is xs max and not xs? 😛

i was thinking about the battery life of the xs max as well. will look at the price drop of iphone 11 and 11 pro when the new release hits the shelf.

The 11 Pro Max is a battery monster - easily a 2-day phone with moderate usage. The XS Max on the other hand had to be charged daily. Yeah, now is not the time to buy a new iPhone, best wait and see smile.gif

Wah...your 11 pro Max can last very long....
For me as a main phone, 7am 100% can last till maybe around 12am before flat....to last 2 days is a miracle or as a second phone where that number seldom receive call and seldom WhatsApp , then 2 days maybe can....

Depends on your daily SOT, I think. My average usually is 4-5 hours per day. I was using the 11 Pro Max back then as my daily driver smile.gif

Try not to get those without Face ID. It means screen replacement was done before. There’s no telling what screen they replace it with

Not bad deal. Given that it is a brand new set.
but make sure you are ok with 64gb. personally i will only go for 256gb and above.

yeah, with newer phones able to take more better quality pics and videos, storage's gonna get eaten up easily

Hi, wanna ask, now my XS Max battery health is 88% and exactly 2 years old now.

88% of battery health is it time to change the battery? If I wanna change the battery, anyone know how much it cost?

it depends on individual whether or not you can live with your current battery stats, if it bothers you then just replace it which will cost rm349.

anyone experiencing sluggish search function? I use the search function alot to find apps, after upgrading to the latest ios, sometimes the apps that I'm looking for doesn't even appear in the search list or took a few seconds before it appears. This is really bothering me, seems like ios is not so optimize as it used to be. Appreciate if any user experience this issue and how do you fix it?
Thanks in advance.

I saw that news as well, but personally I don't really feel much changes on my device in term of battery life, since xs doesnt come with great battery life at the first place. However the sluggish effect after ios14 is really noticeable to me.

88% at 2 years usage is still okay fren.

My iphone 8 plus is at 83% after 2 years plus of usage.

When it reaches 75% or lower then i might consider replacing the battery.

Hey guys, a bit late to the new updates. For those who upgraded to iOS 14, what are your thoughts on it?

I like the idea of widgets and changing the look & feel, but when I see on YouTube it's actually using the Shortcut app, seems like a big circle and roundabout way to it.

Does the widgets take up more battery/RAM space? Will the phone become more sluggish/slow?
