QUOTE(viex @ Jun 17 2019, 05:31 PM)
I don't go around telling people I went to prison before. But for those who know, most of them are indifferent to the factI was in prison for 2 years, Ask me anything.

QUOTE(viex @ Jun 17 2019, 05:51 PM) Prison Warden and Other Prisoners, which one is the worse threat? Just like in the real world , there are nice people and there are nasty people. Is it like Chow Yun Fat Prison movie? QUOTE(Blofeld @ Jun 17 2019, 05:52 PM) Not scared kena TB ah? Hmmmm maybe I should see a doctor and get a blood test.Incubation period around 2 to 5 years later after being infected TB-infected convicts on the rise PETALING JAYA, May 30 — The increasing number of convicts coming to prison with Tuberculosis (TB) is alarming. Deputy Home Minister Datuk Nur Jazlan Mohamed said from January to March this year, there were 231 convicts who entered prisons with TB. “In March alone there were 79 of them,” he told the Malay Mail. He said, because of the limited medical facilities in prisons there was only so much they could do to treat the patients with the disease. https://www.malaymail.com/news/malaysia/201...he-rise/1387959 Denial of medical treatment caused prisoner’s TB death, lawyer claims KUALA LUMPUR, May 28 — A Sungai Buloh prisoner who died from tuberculosis (TB) was only diagnosed when the disease had spread and caused organ failure, his family’s lawyer alleged. Melissa Sasidaran from human rights group Lawyers for Liberty said M. Proosothaman, 25, had complained to his family during their last visit on May 5 about serious fever, stomach ache, diarrhoea, and difficulty walking due to intense pain, but he was only given panadol for his pain. Proosothaman was only brought to Sungai Buloh Hospital on May 21 and died four days later from multiple organ failure due to TB. https://www.malaymail.com/news/malaysia/201...-claims/1756947 QUOTE(TrialGone @ Jun 17 2019, 05:53 PM) /K and ghey joke berpisah tiadaQUOTE(pokie182 @ Jun 17 2019, 05:55 PM) Hi TS, those prisoners that masuk because of hurting or even kill children, did you met them? Do other prisoners treat them special? No. Didn't meet any. Most probably they will get shanked if the other prisoners found out. People get shanked all the time inside.QUOTE(amandamai @ Jun 17 2019, 05:56 PM) No. Prison by itself won't reform a person. There are studies and statistics on this. It's very interesting. I met alot of inmates that have been in and out for years. |

QUOTE(viex @ Jun 17 2019, 06:38 PM) i heard prisoners hate pedobear, rapist and sex offenders yes and yes.do these people get beaten up, tortured or killed? QUOTE(kkk8787 @ Jun 17 2019, 06:45 PM) personally seen? no. but heard storiesQUOTE(EBBattlefield @ Jun 17 2019, 07:10 PM) to top up that question. if we get caught fighting, all those involved will get sent to a special block for maybe 1 to 2 weeks. those inmates that are sent to that block will only be given bread and water, and will get daily beatings. If there was rape against your own gang or fight against your own gang, what's the SOP? Do you intervene or do you let prison justice happen depending on whether they deserve it? so there is rarely any gang vs gang fights. most fights is between few individuals and quickly resolved once the warden is nearby. QUOTE(raymondwong1808 @ Jun 17 2019, 09:59 PM) TS, just curious. Will you share your prison story with your new met friend? OR even your existing circle of friend? Do you mind to let your friend know about your history? yeah i will share my experiences with those i feel comfortable with.QUOTE(ImUrDaddY @ Jun 18 2019, 08:54 AM) disgusting tap water from the toilet. |

QUOTE(lowya @ Jun 18 2019, 04:32 PM) when u got thirsty inside, did u consume unfiltered tap water or were filtered and boiled water provided to inmates? i learned from the other inmates how to filter the tap water from the toilet using a makeshift cloth water filter.QUOTE(internaldisputes @ Jun 18 2019, 04:32 PM) Do I feel guilt or remorse for everything i did before? No. Not really. I sleep very well at night.Having said that, i had a very very long time to self reflect on my life and on how I want to live my life. The issue with living a nihilistic life filled with anger, hatred, resentment, and pain is that my thoughts and actions becomes toxic to both myself and everyone around me. Which was fine with me for many years because i reached the point where i didn't really care about anyone else or even myself. But, deep down, like all humans, i desire to be happy. And it is impossible to be toxic and happy at the same time. I will tell you a secret. The changes people see in me is not because i suddenly became a repentant like Andy Lau in Shaolin. It is because i actively choose to remove toxicity from my attitude, thinking , speech and behavior. |

QUOTE(lowya @ Jun 18 2019, 05:05 PM) seriously all inmates drinks from tap water straight? it's not even tap water. there is a strong chemical taste and it burns the throat. we drink just enough to survive, because it burns the throat so badly and the smell of chemicals is just dodgy, no one knows what chemicals are added in the water. i want to guess chlorine but then i know how chlorinated water smells like because i swam in swimming pools before, and that smell is definitely not chlorine.this is sad to know inmates are deprived of basic human needs, this should be in the prison reform, maybe you could compile all and submit to the relevant authorities on things that should be improved. |

QUOTE(lowya @ Jun 18 2019, 05:38 PM) how many hours you sleep? -wake up, wash face, put on some clothes, get ready for muster. Go for muster. Could you break down your schedules inside by the hour? starting with wake up time and go to sleep time. -go back into cell, chit chat and wait for breakfast. eat breakfast. bath -after breakfast take a nap until lunch. eat lunch, bath -after lunch wait for dinner. read book, chit chat, do push ups, bath -after dinner, chit chat, bath, sleep QUOTE(viex @ Jun 18 2019, 05:40 PM) got, u just need a small space to meditate and do tai chi.QUOTE(amandamai @ Jun 18 2019, 05:41 PM) What happens when there is water shortage? I read when an area got water shortage, it's the prison that the water supply will be cut first. How do you survive then? No bathing, drinking, washing, toilet flush, soaking maggi....or got water lorry coming in? suffer lah, what else happen?QUOTE(Captain89 @ Jun 18 2019, 05:44 PM) How they release inmates? Is there any signing of papers or just release after they complete their sentences in there? need to give finger prints for some documents. How do feel once you step out of prison? Just curious about it feels abit weird and disorientating the first few months i was out. the sights, the sounds, the smells, is abit overwhelming because i was sensory deprived in there. i don't know how to describe exactly how it felt. The closest word i can think of is relieved. the sky looked beautiful, the trees and scenery looked beautiful, the wind felt good. |

Are you sure? Starting a fire with flint is not easy...it is easier to get lighters/matches in there I think lighters and matches are not allowed in Malaysian prison. This isn't Indon or Thai prison where u are allowed to smoke. |

QUOTE(triple02 @ Jun 18 2019, 07:08 PM) WD, Yes, my life was definitely much easier than the rest of the other inmates. i had a mattress, a place furthest away from the toilet, every week i get to hang out at the canteen once a day. had extra food rations. smuggled in books.Read your replies to the posts after filtering all the bile, You seem to be well-connected on the outside that made seemingly made your life for 2 years in prison a little “bearable” by all accounts, any chance did your connection outside contributed to this? Do u think someone that came in without any connections would have lived the same way u did for 2 years? How is easy it is for new prisoners to assimilate themselves to those that are already in there? QUOTE(amandamai @ Jun 18 2019, 07:45 PM) I think i read earlier on this tered. Police can only extend remand maximum 14 days. After that, charge him or release him. The ones in police lock up are the ones max 14 days. After that, if person cannot pay bail or the charge doesn't allow bail, they would be transferred to prison but will need to wear different colour uniform. One of the reason they stuck in prison for long time because their court dates are still months away. Only after trial is over which sometimes can take years including pleading process, they are found not guilty so those times in prison must be one heck of experience. Innocent ppl who are poor and cannot pay bail are the most kasian. And if those ppl are found guilty, their 5 year sentence are counted since the day they are in lock up, not the day they get their sentence. yeah something like that. Sungai Buloh is where they put the people who can't pay bail. Technically they are not guilty of anything yet in terms of the law but they have to be detained for court hearing, so they end up in Sungai Buloh.Bijan can have ppl donate to him, no problem paying bail. Correct me if I'm wrong . QUOTE(gonfeeces @ Jun 18 2019, 09:08 PM) thanks!QUOTE(se800i @ Jun 19 2019, 12:17 PM) wow... so many police surrounded you while they wanted to arrest you ar? It sounds like you were like committed very serious offence. angry for alot of reasons. i was a really angry person last time.angry because of knowing the bad people and bring you to do the bad things? |
