how did you set 1000Mbps cos as far as i know there is no setting

the desktop will autodetect the lan speed . Look under pc ethernet Status.

you mention with laptop you can get 400Mbps .... so we can assume you should at least get same for desktop.

with this info , can suspect ... your cat6 cable could be of poor quality or your desk top have an issue .

Called TM few times but they always just reset the port and asked to monitor again. Last time with the 100Mbps, the network performance was perfect, there was no need to reset the router or modem for months. I wonder what could be the problem.

Link led must always be ON . in sync and fiber link is OK.

AUTH led blinking mean auth failure between ONU and OLT ( TM side .

you need to call unifi to get service . try capture a video as proof.

The issue is that it happens intermittently. When i call TM, not too long after that, asked to restart, then ok again. Then end of story for them.

Damn sien....it is not that it is disruptive, but quite annoying, especially for my wife.

OLT optical line terminal
is located at TM exchange.

It sends Ethernet data to the ONU/ONT - BTU , initiates and controls the ranging process, and records the ranging information. OLT allocates bandwidth to the ONU/ONT and controls the starting time and the transmission window size of the ONU/ONT transmission data
from google.


that is why you need do a video capture to show the unifi tech .


i once have a problem on the unifi
my telephone voice call will drop/ cut off intermittently
they blame my phone . i swap out 3 different phone set , same problem

they came back 4 time before it was fix. change the BTU twice, check the fiber conn, etc
the last tech called the control center , seem some data is set wrong on my subscription.
after he fix the data , no more call drop .

huawei BTU
if LINK led always ON is good/normal . should never blink at all.
AUTH light should be off is normal. . should never blink at all.
LAN1 is always blinking is normal.

for your case if all devices are effected then i suspect your wireless modem .
try change back to the tm one and try. or if you have another spare .
you can try check your wireless router event log s for that time in question..
Also try change your LAN cable between BTU and wireless router.
